I got my new cell phone a couple of weeks ago. I went from a Windows phone to the Samsung Galaxy mega 2. The first thing I did was download virus software. I love all the features. It is a bright screen. I love all the software you can download. It has 16GB. It is a slim phone. A big hand user will love it. It's like a small tablet. I have been having fun with it. Thanks Samsung for making the perfect phone.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only thing I don't like about this phone is that half screen gets squiggly lines and u have to restart it...
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, big

This phone has Great features.. How ever I have had many problems with the phone. Always cut off when talking don't always power on. Other than that I really do like it. If they can fix the problems with it! !!

I have had the same issue with my phone not coming back on when the screen goes black. I have to take the battery out to get the phone back on, I love all the features of the phone just wish they knew what was going on with the Mega 2.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: phone screen goes black and wont come back on.

I love the size of the screen, makes reading text easier. The phone itself is below average. Battery life is very short, at first I thought I had too many running apps so I closed them all, still drained my battery, so I deleted apps, still drained battery. Then I reset my device to factory reset and battery still drained. I have had to replace twice, very fragile, screen shatters if dropped, even in a case. Speaker volume is not very good, when there is a lot of background noise you can not hear who is on the other end of the line. Made appropriate adjustments still poor reception. When contract is up will find a different device.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Tablet poor phone

This phone work very good as a tablet to send and receive emails, navigate internet and use all of the android capabilities yo find in a tablet which are increased by the phone combination.
But, on the PHONE functions is NOT that good in my experience with it for almost 1 year and previous owner of a Mega 1 for another year.
The worst problem I had in my first Mega 2 and it is not that bad in the replacement I got a few days ago , is that to receive a call I have to swipe the green phone icon many times and many times, loose the call. After finishing a phone call and trying to end the connection, by touching the red phone icon it will not cut off.
When making a call, it takes a long time to actually make the connection even though it says dialing.
Besides this Mega phones I`ve used a Note 1 and an S3-mini and never had a problem with them.
I really like this Mega 2 and will keep using it, and would like to replace it with another 6 inch screen at about the same price, but selecting one that has a better performance in the phone part of it.
The speaker phone needs more volume and a better microphone so the receiver of the call gets a better sound while on speaker phone function.

Cons: phone portion not really good, not enough volume on speaker phone, on speacker phone microphone has weak transmition, difficult to accept and cut off calls, reduced screen sensibility
