Very loud and for the life of me, I could not get the duct covers on. Had professional do it, and they almost gave up and gave me my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A powerful exhaust hood does a much more efficient job of cleaning the air, but the larger the CFM (cubic feet per minute), the louder the exhaust hood. Your hood is rated at 600 CFM, and 9 sones (or 70-75 decibels). This means that while your hood might have a higher decibel level, it can be more effective at removing smoke, and grease. Hard to clean

Love the looks of it in our very modern house, but when the light hits it, UGH!!

Hello, Liz62! I know it is frustrating when you can't get your appliance sparkling clean. We recommend using a stainless steel cleaner, such as Stainless Steel Magic on the stainless portion of the range hood. Be sure to wipe with a moist soapy sponge and dry with a soft cloth after applying cleaners. On the aluminum or painted surfaces, use a product like Fantastic or Formula 409. You can apply this cleaner directly to a soft cloth and wipe the surface. More cleaning tips can be found on page 19 of the following manual:

36in island hood

We bought this product about 6 months ago as part of a full kitchen remodel. We have been very satisfied with the performance. We were concerned the CFM rating would not be enough for the gas range we purchased since we often use all burners. So far it has worked great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used for 2 years and probably 3 days /week. So not much use. Does not work anymore and was very expensive.
