Destroyed many clothes

Bought the house with the thing in it. After a few months or so there will be one shirt or clothe that will be caught in the rubber thing. Must have destroyed more than 5 shirts and pajama. Couldn't figure out what's wrong even if I loaded it up half filled it's doing the same thing randomly. Just ripped 1 pajama a couple of weeks ago and the worst part the rubber was ripped too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Surprisingly impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are amazed at how fast it gets the loads done and how efficient it is. Our old washer took forever. The clothes are spun out much better too and don't take as long to dry after. Very easy to use. This is our first Whirlpool washer and we love it, it is so quiet when it runs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good enough

These came with the home we just purchased. I thought it would be nice to have a new washer and dryer with so many features, etc., but I find it just isn't good enough. The washer does not spin the water out of the clothes properly and it takes forever! So much electric is spent on hours of washing and drying - that just isn't energy efficient! The dryer, for it's part, senses the clothes as dry - but they are not completely dry - so back in they go. . .Again, hours of drying. It's just the two of us and I spend all day doing our few clothes. . . Not something I would ever buy for myself, and we will be going back to a traditional top load when we can afford to buy replacements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
