[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had top load washing machines my entire life and was very hesitant with buying a front load washer. Friends told me horror stories of mold on the doors and such. Well I am here to tell you that I LOVE my new Whirlpool washer. I found that if I leave the door open it dries what little water is on the rubber. It is quiet and really cleans. The machine spins your clothes ALMOST dry... I also purchased a Whirlpool front load dryer and couldn't be more happy with it either! I am a mother of 3, grandmother of 7.. I've done my share of laundry and I LOVE this WASHER!!!!!!!!

My Whirlpool Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Duet Whirlpool washer. I stacked it with my dryer and it is great. Gets clothes really clean and I like all the different settings. I love the stainless steel interior. It's a great machine!

replaced a duet sport washing machine a month ago and am pleased so farthe rubber lining at the front is an improvement, easier to cleanruns quieter

Good washer

Replaced our 10 yr old Kenmore HE Elite w/ this...not keen on the noises accompanied w/ every button press but washer is quiet in cycle even on hi spin. Seems to be Hi E but only have haed 2 weeks. Miss having more control over options w/ using tap water, etc.

Needed to replace my old stackables and bought this a month ago. I am quite pleased. Slightly noisier that my old set, but that is probably due to the fact that these are larger and I had to dismantle the old cabinet they were in to get the new ones in...

12 Years of Great Service!

I bought my whirlpool duet in 2003, yes, 13 years ago when I bought my first home. I just had my first major problem a few days ago. The washer is spinning out of control, something is loose during the spin cycle. Hopefully it can be repaired. If not, I've gotten extreme use out of this machine for 12 years doing 1-2 loads per day, everyday. It's phenomenal how long it's lasted. I will buy a new one if this one is not repairable.

just trying to do my laundry

I am just trying to do regular household laundry for a family of four and this machine has been nothing but trouble. It is in fact the second Duet we have had because the first one delivered and installed died in the first 6 months and I finally got Whirlpool to replace it. Now three years on the pump motor seems to be going. It's been three years of coddling and temperamental performance from the machine. I dread doing laundry because I fear it will trip a code.I just want to do the laundry. It really should be simpler than this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
