Purchase two months ago and use it nearly every day. Great job cleaning, looks good, pleasant chime for end of cycle alert. The Load&Go is so awesome! No more measuring detergent, losing the little cup, etc. Best of all it is made in USA.

Wish you could change the door hinge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit along with the dryer. Due to the set up of our laundry room, the dryer has to go on the left hand side and the washer on the right. Therefore, both doors open to the left, so I have to reach over or around my washer door to put things in the dryer. On older washer models, you used to be able to change the side the door hinges on. If this is not possible anymore, maybe at least consider making it an option to ORDER either right or left hinge doors. Otherwise love the features.

A Dream of a Clean

We recently replaced our 11 year old Whirlpool Duet washer with the newest steam clean FLW and it cleans like a dream! In 2005 we replaced our old fashioned spin washer with an FLW built in Germany and thought the new technology was wonderful. Now, the latest incarnation of the Duet washer, even though it is no longer manufactured in the old country, is so much better than the original that it beat all of our expectations. The steam option ensures whatever we wash is thoroughly sanitized. The washer even forces air through our wash once the spin cycle has ended so that our clothes begin to dry while our dryer is still working on the previous load. And the new Load & Go detergent dispenser not only saves us from over sudsing our clothes thus saving us on detergent but, because it uses just the right amount of detergent, it saves us on water because we no longer feel it necessary to double rinse our clothes. Overall, this washer is well worth the initial investment and the ongoing cost to operate.

WORST PURCHASE EVER!!!!!!!

We purchased this front load washer less than 2 years ago and it was the worst purchase we have ever made. We went with the recommendation of the "salesman" and bought this product thinking he was an expert. Less than two years later it is in pieces on my basement floor. I will never purchase a whirlpool product ever again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an improvement over my older model Duet. It's "smarter", quieter and has more options.

My previous washer was a front load Whirlpool. I loved it. I was unaware when I purchased it that it was disposable!!! Repairman said no one likes to fix them and it would be cheaper to buy a new one as these were disposable. That's crazy! He told me to stay with Whirlpool because they were the best. Well I did and we'll I am doubting that decision!! Just prchased the duet washer on Saturday. Was told the pedestals have not changed and the one I have would work for my new washer. WRONG!!!! They do not! That's another way to get you to spend another $300. I have used this new washer for 4 loads now and I hate it!!!!. The door leaks which I now have read in reviews I'll be wasting my time getting that looked at. It also does not dissolve the powder laundry soap well. Yes even in warm water. Very unhappy with this machine and NO I will not recommend it to anyone!

Great so far!

We have been using this machine for about a month now and we really like how well it works. I really like the the different settings that are available and have used many of them already. There are two things that I find to be drawbacks to this machine. First, it seems to take longer than my old top load machine (but probably does a better job because of it). Second, I wish the Load 'n Go soap dispenser was larger and the fill line easier to see.

I bought my new washer about one month ago and I love it! It has plenty of space to do large loads. I love not having to add soap during each load. And it spells great.
