Great Washer

Had the washer and matching dryer for about a month now. This is not long enough to explore all of the options but we are quite satisfied with how it cleans clothes. Favorite things are the load and go which means you only add detergent once in a great while. It is also easy to program and reasonably swift in completing a load. Negatives are that it is not the quietest machine out there. The spin cycle sounds like a jet about to take off but at least it doesn't vibrate and it still sounds like a high quality piece of machinery.

this generation a giant leap over top loaders

Purchased in Dec 2014 and after 60 days of experience I am very pleased with the purchase. The size of the drum, the quiet operation and overall cleaning performance are a major improvement my 10 year old top load model. The high speed spin cycle allows clothes to dry much faster - a real energy saver with an electric dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You got to hate when the washer is quieter than your dryer!

I previously had an older 3.9 cubic foot washer and decided to take the step up to the 4.5 cubic foot Loan & Go washer. Obviously I love the size & you can't imagine how nice it is not having to add detergent for each load.. Very convenient as I try to get my kids to wash more of their own clothes. But as a single dad, what I love the most is a feature they call "Fan Fresh". I tend to get a little busy at times and will leave the clothes in the washer when I go to work. The days of rewashing clothes because they smell seem to be over. I also love that you can set a pre-wash cycle automatically and when the cycle is over it goes directly into the wash cycle. My old washer would prewash and when it was over I had to go back to the washer and tell it to wash the clothes. I guess I only have one real complaint about the washer. It's so quiet I think I have to get a new dryer because the dryer is considerably louder than this washer even when it's spinning.

Great features and looks great

The load-n-go feature is nicer than I was expecting. It provide the proper dispense of detergent for each load. This is a pretty quite washing machine. The loudest part of the cycle is the spin cycle when it sounds like an airplane ready for takeoff. It spins fast which should make for less drying time.

NOISY WHEN SPIN DRYING

I HAD MY FRONT LOAD WASHER INSTALLED THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS. ON THE DEFAULT FAST SPIN, EACH WEEK IT MAKES LOUD AND LOUDER METALLIC WHINES. I HAVE REDUCED THE LOUD SOUNDS BY REDUCING THE SPIN SPEED, BUT NOW MY DRYER HAS TO WORK LONGER TO DRY THE WETTER CLOTHES.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
