Drum broke in less than 3 years

Bought ours in 01/2016. Had been working fine when started hearing a squeaky sound. Part of rubber boot had started coming off. When I pulled it back, found a crack in the plastic surrounding the drum. Would have cost more to fix than to get a new washer. Hope for other's sake that ours was an exception. It definitely only earned one star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Washer also an excellent product. I don't have anything to say. I see the result was all the cloth were clean. I like it so much. L& D Company has done a good job to install the washing machine. And the product run very well also. Thanks you to all the people, and had done a good job.

Less than five years old and doesn’t work

We bought this washer (minus a few features) in 2014. We have had mold all through the detergent dispenser, we keep getting sensor error messages, my husband did the daunting task of cleaning the front drain (why on earth is it designed so that you have to take the whole front of the washer apart to access the drain?!?!), and then it does one or two loads max and then gives the error messages again and stops working. I loved the ease of use but I am very disappointed that I am buying a new washer in less than five years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Black mold issue

we have been battling severe black mold in the entire machine (soap area, inside area, drum, etc. It’s smells awful and is dangerous to our young family.

Whirlpool Steam Black Diamond

The Steam Black Diamond, they works the money for. The cycles do not destroyed your clothes, dryers is very gentle with any kind of fabrics. Love my Whirlpool and always do.

Dispenser stopped dispensing detergent

I have had the load and go for 2 years and the load and go cartridge started filling with water. Ran several washes without softener to see if clothes had a clean smell and it didn’t. Called whirlpool and they sent me a new dispenser cartridge but the same thing happened. Called back and whirlpool couldn’t tell me what could be causing the problem and they don’t have any information on this happening before. Whirlpool parts couldnt help either. They only could tell me parts I could buy and try. This should not be happening on a 2 year old machine and with no real support or understanding of this type of problem. I now am having to only use powder and even then my clothes are Not getting clean. I had a duet for 7 years with no problems so I thought I would be getting a quality product.

Excellent washer

Let me say that I bought my duet pair 10 years ago. I am just now having to replace the washer. The fact is these front load washers are so air tight that when not in use you leave the door cracked open. The at eliminates the mold problem ..I love my duet and am trying to find the replacement model for it. Any ideas?
