Whirlpool Washer with Load & Go

I purchased this a month ago and just love it. I especially like the Load & Go feature. It automatically dispenses the soap and can even dry your load. Nice feature if you put a load in the washer right before going to bed. You can set it and it will be dry when you get up in the morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought the matching pair of these about 2 months ago. The features are excellent and it's so efficient using hardly any water and the cloths come out exceptionally clean. The controls are for the most part easy to understand and instinctual. The "LOAD & GO" is a great idea. I would request that if Whirlpool is reading this that they add some additional detail in the instruction manual, specifically about which cycles will dispence Bleach. That detail is missing so when the bleach dispenser did not dispense bleach we weren't sure it was a fault or not. Turns out it was not working properly. We will get that sorted out but otherwise love this washer and it's a very attractive appliance of that is of any concern....great color.

New Whirlpool Washer & Dryer

Two weeks ago, I replaced my old Whirlpool Duet with the new unit. I like the new unit but it is too early to pass any judgement. If the new unit is as good or better than my 13 years old unit, then I am glad that I have picked the right unit.

We upgraded to this washer from a 13 year old run-of-the-mill washer and the difference was night and day. This washer uses very little water and cleans our clothes very well. Plus, we can finally wash our king sized comforter without having to take it to the cleaners. This washer is so quiet, without the "done" chime you'd never know it was done. The spin cycle is ridiculous! This thing must spin the speed of a jet engine. It's super fast and gets the clothes nearly dry, so the matching dryer finishes the job very quickly. Overall we are very happy with this washer.

Great feature - load and go

I love love love the load and go system not messing with laundry soap on every load is so awesome. I'm sure I was using way to much soap and now it does it for me. I have not been buying nearly the the amount of soap I used before.

Much Improved Over Past 6 years

Whirpool has made some significant improvements to the Duet line with this model. The 1400 RPM spin speed makes a big difference compared to my old Duet washer (1000 RPM), removes much more water and takes less time to dry. The vibration control is vastly improved with much less washer movement with large loads. Although I've only owned this model for 1 month, there appears to be less mildew accumulation in the drum and the design appears to be have changed. The Load-and-Go detergent dispenser is very convenient and the Fan Fresh feature works well which are very useful improvements.

Great Features

I love this washer! The different cycles is a huge help. It tells you when to refill the detergent and when the washer needs to be cleaned. I have not used the steam cycle yet but will soon.

the washer is a dream, i can't believe it's running. it is right next to our bedroom and my wife sometimes uses it late after i've gone to bed,and it doesn't bother me at all. not like the last one, where you couldn't watch tv or eat supper.
