Really Nice TV

After researching many TV"s I kept coming back to Samsung Smart TV. The reviews on this particular TV were all positive. I like the fact that I can integrate my Samsung Tablets with the TV, I love being able to access internet in yet another location. The picture quality is amazing. Got a great price on it and when you register through Samsung you get an additional 3 months of warranty.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, features
I would recommend this to a friend!

No accessories available?
on October 28, 2012
Posted by: bauer011
This appears to be a great TV, however, there are no accessories available to make web searches and use of applications easier. Samsung smart keyboard is not supported? Try web browsing with just a remote? I am returning it today.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, lack of accessories makes internet options non-exi
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The allshare feature, and USB play are not fully functional
on July 1, 2012

Overall the TV is good, but there are couple major deficiencies , i discovered through the use.
1. USB play and Allshare play, will not up-convert the video content that you play through them to HD, as a result you will have blurry picture, for the movies that are less than 720p resolution, in fact to play USB and Allshare videos through the blu-ray player with the same features(USB, Allshare), will give you much better picture quality.
2. The web browser is not full so , it will give you a lot of troubles playing videos through the internet.
3. There is no international languges support in it, only English, Spanish and French.
But the main deficiency in it, the absence of UP-CONVERSION function for Allshare and USB, which make these two functions useless. And I think it is now for all of the Samsung TVs.
Don't waste your money for these functions, buy cheaper TV, and get the Blu-ray with this functions.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor sound and can't use a USB mouse or QWERTY keyboard
on April 16, 2012

I purchased this at the store because I had purchased a previous Samsung LED TV, and based on the features. My other Samsung LED TV is a 46", and I really liked it, but I wanted to move it to the bedroom and purchase a larger one to replace it in the living room. This newer model was a Smart TV so it really seemed interesting because it had built-in WIFI, web browser, Netflix, and a few other bells and whistles. After I unboxed it and mounted it onto the stand, I ran the setup. When it completed, I started watching the TV. The first thing that I noticed was the terrible sound quality coming from it compared to the other Samsung model this one replaced. The sound from it sounded cheap and "tinny". I went into the settings menu to try and correct it, but it really didn't seem to improve anything. I also noticed that I had to turn the volume up to almost 50% to hear it. My other Samsung LED TV's volume only needed to be at 21%. The only thing that I could figure out was that since this newer TV is thinner than my other Samsung, the speakers might be mounted in the back and thinner. The poor sound really causes a sense of being cheap for me, and this is something that I didn't expect from Samsung. I would rather have a thicker TV with better speakers. I'll know better next time not to purchase a thin TV. I would grade the sound quality as a "D". The next thing has to do with the built in web browser. It's really great that Samsung decided to include a browser. I would grade this as an "A+". HOWEVER, not being able to plug a qwerty keyboard or plug in a mouse into the TV's USB ports grades as a "F". Sure, the remote control allows you to enter in information and click links, but it's sooooo slow for a user to do this. It's almost not worth having the internet feature within the TV. It would be easier for the user to just use their computer instead of the TV. The apps within the TV aren't too bad; they aren't the best, but they aren't the worst. I sort of expected seeing weak apps because of the Samsung Blu-ray player. It has pitiful apps in it. For me, the only decent apps are Netflix and Hulu. I would have liked to have seen the Amazon app included since I have purchased some TV shows and movies through them. Amazon is included in a Roku box. I guess that I would grade the apps, and some extra abilities like removing the ones that Samsung wants you to see, as a "D+". I mentioned USB ports earlier. I noticed there are three USB ports and three HDMI ports. I could have used less USB ports and more HDMI ports if I knew that I would really be able to use a keyboard and mouse with this TV. Anyway, I guess the only thing that I would grade an "A" towards would be the picture. Here's the bottom line. I have purchased several Samsung products (TVs and video players), and I fully expected things to improve, but it appears there isn't a real improvement. If anything, the products appear to be getting worse, or they include a great feature that you really can fully enjoy. I will not say that I will "never" purchase another Samsung product, but I will be looking at another company's product first before I ever purchase anything Samsung.
Pros: Lightweight, nice picture, web browser
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, cannot use a keyboard or mouse, poor sound, not enough hdmi ports, inability to add amazon tv app
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

6150 is great choice

The video from 6150 is excellent. The built-in wifi is helpful, albeit a bit slow in connecting. The sound is sub-par and is enhanced by surround sound speakers (I purchased the Samsung blu-ray theater in a box and it enhances the viewing experience tremendously)
Pros: Bright display
Cons: sound subpar

Best TV on the current market.

This is a great TV. I don't think there is another one on the market that is better. The only negative I have is I wish the power cord was longer because I placed the TV on the wall and the short cord doesn't give you much room to move the TV from side to side. I am glad there is a way to order a longer cord.
I wish when I made the purchase, I would of realised that a HDMI cord wasn't included.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: short power cord
I would recommend this to a friend!
