I did a bit of comparison shopping and ended up with Samsung. Owning many Samsung products, I am convinced of the quality. This TV has an unbelievable picture and a very good set of features.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

We are totally impressed with the picture quality and "ease of use" on our new Samsung 55" Smart TV. The colors and definition are superb and it was very easy to set up. This is the newest LCD/LED series and we are very, very satisfied. We would highly recommend this TV to any of our friends or relatives. It was also a great value compared to other TV's we had considered.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Nice LED tv

I like the TV, and Smart TV is nice. However, the software is still need time to mature, and quite buggy. I have connection problem to lock up which required reboot. Although the TV recognized USB thumb drive, I am not able to get the external HDD working; as a result, I still need to use external stream player to play from HDD. I am still having problem getting DLNA feature working. I am disappointed that Smart TV does not work with shared or network drive.

Great picture quality and fun internet features

Fantastic TV! Worth the money. The online/internet features are fun to play with. Only complaint is that webpage navigation is difficult with the remote, but I believe one can get a mouse and keyboard for that.

Very easy to set up. Great crisp picture. Sound is very good. Very stylish design. Wireless works like a charm. Extremely happy with this purchase.

This TV has many good features but some limitations

I have two complaints but neither would stop me from purchasing this TV. (1) The TV does not turn on the Samsung sound bar. The voulme control works and turning the TV off turns the sound bar off. (2) The TV has only one video input for non-HD devices such as a Directv receiver, older DVD, or a VCR. If you haven't switched to all HD you will need to buy input switches.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: intergation with sound bar

Bigger is Better

I originally purchased a 46" smart tv and after 2 yrs decided I wanted to go bigger! 55" goes a long way. I must say the HDMI cord is a must! The speakers deliver great sound. And I would suggest a mini keyboard remote to faciltate web browsing which can be quite annoying w/ the standard remote. I really have nothing bad to say about this TV than again I've only had it for about 2 weeks. I def reccomend this item to anyone who enjoys watching sports and/or movies.
