Nice lens for the money

I bought my sometime ago and have been pleased with the results. One off the things I like, and convinced to buy it is the f 4-5.6 speed. It’s a must on my RP.

Good zoom lens for price.

WIth this lens you get what you pay for. I have mainly used the lens for action shots and it has constanly deliverd. The images are very sharp and the IS works very well. I have found this lens to preform fairly well in low light but some times strugles with the closer focusing distances. Also the Auto-Focus is sometimes slow but is accurate .It is light weight but not the best built quality. This lens overall has exceeded all of my expectations for it.
Pros: sharp images, good for price, light weight.
Cons: Slow auto-focus

My first lens purchase

Being new to photography a few years ago, I needed a telephoto lens for my trip to a Red Sox game and it worked unbelievably well. This lens gave me the photography bug that I have now. Currently I am using the lens with my 400D. I've used it for many types of shots from nature photography to portrait and it has worked great. I use it most with manual focus in full manual mode, and it has worked very well. Couldn't be happier!!

Love My Lens!

After years of loving my Canon SLR 35mm camera and the quality of my pics, but increasingly finding it difficult to buy the film and processing I wanted, I took the plunge into DSLR. I love my camera and lens. They aren't heavy to cart around, and I can switch lens in a flash. Have only had it one one trip, but can't wait for the fall colors to explore even more!!
Pros: Fast auto-focus, Superior build quality, Super-sharp images
