I bought my original Otter Case for my iPhone 6 Plus the day I bought the phone. After over two years of daily use, the clip that holds the phone in the holder broke. I was counting the days until this replacement arrived. It is perfect!

I love my Otter Box! My 2 children bought me an iphone for my b-day. Having an iphone is like a piece of jewelry! I was at Verizon looking at cases and this young girl had a case. I asked her about it. She dropped it on the floor and said, "see, it is still okay." I asked what she had and she told me an Otter Box. That young girl sold me because I wanted something that would really protect my expensive iphone! Nothing could stop me. I purchased an Otter Box. My colors are pink and and soft blue. I love this cover and the feel. I feel my phone is safe. One of the best decisions I have made.

My defender protected my phone from drops, sat-ons and dirt and grim. Plastic frame was broken rubber case was stretched to the limits, couldn't see through protective screen but it managed to keep my $900 iphone looking brand new. It lasted about 3 years of skiing, painting business, mountain biking, golf Anne hiking. Finally I replaced it about 2weeks ago. Best case for active people.

Was using a cheap clear case on my iPhone 6s Plus because I didn't want to hide its beauty. It broke and so I returned to my beloved otterbox defender.
I love the security it gives me if I should drop my phone. This cover is tough and lasts. It feels very secure in my hands---no slippage. I love the belt clip/kickstand.
However, the defender does come with sacrifices:
The screen protector negatively affects touch sensitivity. I have to press harder and sometimes several times to open a link, etc.
The beveled edge interferes with the little arrow at the top left of phone that allows you to go back and forth between screens. It also prevents me from getting to the alphabets on the right side of screen in Contacts.
The back cover with the clip must be removed to get to the slots for charging cable and aux cable.
The rubber slot covers are also too stiff and it takes several attempts to get cables in them.
But, with all these negatives, this is still the best cover on the market for me; and, I have tried many in all price ranges.

This will be my 4th holster for my Otterbox Defender case. The case is great! I love the case. It's saved my phone from damage more than once. But the clip on the holster keeps breaking.
It seems that when I'm in my truck that the seatbelt receptacle gets caught underneath the holster. The holster clip locks in the open position as a result. When I get out of the truck the clip snaps off. I no longer wear the phone on my belt while I'm driving. The case and holsters are warrantied for a year from the date. of purchase. I wish the clip didn't lock in the open position but it's just designed that way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
