Shortly after I had the OtterBox on my phone, my dog knocked over a bottle of opened pop and drenched my phone. I picked up my phone hoping for the best, expecting the worse and after I cleaned up the phone, everything was just fine. I am so glad I purchased the OtterBox. I can also hold on to the phone better. On the frustrating side, I really had to struggle to get the two pieces apart. I had to warm it up a little to make the back part more pliable to get off. And I can't use the thumbprint to open the phone anymore. I don't mind putting in my code, but just to let you know. I love the OtterBox! I highly recommend it.

I really LOVE my Otterbox Defender and Holster Clip. I recently invested in a iPhone 6Plus(not cheap) and I purchased the case and clip to house it. I am in LOVE with the way it secures the phone. Most iPhone users know its 80% glass so I knew exactly what to get. I like the snug fit, and the 3 piece protection (bumper,shell,and built in screen protector) that it gives. Especially since I work in a big warehouse with cement floors, I can rest assured if and when my phone drops(and it has PLENTY) my phone is 100%safe. I have no worries..I just wish there were more colors but hey you choose your battles....I highly recommend it.

From day one, when Otterbox started making cases for Apple devices, I have been a proud customer. My purchases have included cases for each and every IPhone and my original IPad. Presently, I have an IPhone 6 Plus and when I purchasre the IPhone X, I will buy another Defender.
Why? Because Otterbox products, without a doubt, give the best production for any device. My choice has always been the Defender series. It feels good in my hand and makes the phone very easy to grip. How anyone can purchase a new phone, without an Otterbox for protection, is beyond me. Any phone is just too slippery to hold and It is no wonder when folks drop them and they break, without an Otterbox.
Here is a photo of my original First generation I pad, with 3 of my iphones, (can’t remember the exact models) plus my 6 Plus that I used to take the pic, and have purchased 2 Defenders for the 6 Plus. Never got rid of my devices, but kept them all! So, if anyone wants to protect their investment, Otterbox is the only choice. Thank you Otterbox, your products are the best as is your customer service. You have my utmost respect. Thank you!

Just what I'm looking for...

I was looking around for a tough case for my iphone 6 plus and my colleague at work recommended me to check out otterbox defender. I love it the moment I read and watch all the reviews online. I know it's big and bulky but I'm not bothered by it. My only concern was the plastic cover would not protect the screen upon direct impact on the screen itself. One of my colleague broke his iphone screen despite having a tempered glass on. So I took a gamble and bought Patchworks ITG Full Cover tempered glass to erase my concern. I took off the plastic cover and both perfectly complement each other. I'm well aware that this would void my warranty but for me it's always better to be safe than sorry. The reason I did not get otterbox alpha glass instead is due to lack of important info like whether it is 9H scratch resistant. I'm very particular about important information like this and lack of one would definitely won't make it into my target list. I would love see if otterbox can come out with a video showing their alpha glass can withstand direct impact from a drop on a pointy object. That would definitely raised the confidence in buyer to buy their product.
