I bought an OtterBox when I got my iPhone. Two moths later I drove off with the phone on the roof of my car; below is a photo of the OtterBox after being driven over by what must have been over 100 times. I took the photo with my still-intact iPhone. Needless to say, I bought another OtterBox!

Pros and cons to the classic black case

I purchased this case less than a year ago and it did have some very good positives and it also had some very bad negatives. I'm going to start with the good and lead into the bad. The case was very accommodating to my busy lifestyle and survived many drops to the case itself. The case definitely protects your phone with the 3 layers of protection. That honestly sums up the positives. The case was honestly too bulky and was heavy because of its durable build to it. The phone I had was an iPhone 6 and the case had a protective film over the home button that allowed you to use Touch ID, and over time I noticed it became less and less affective and harder to use. The biggest problem I faced was the rubber part of the case tearing and in a sense peeling off, so because of that I got a warranty claim because the case wasn't cheap. Here's the thing I would not have gotten the warranty if I didn't trust their products to begin with. i trust otterbox fully don't get me wrong, I feel as if their negatives are worth the hassle because it does FULLY protect your phone and doesn't risk damage to the device itself. I have 2 otterbox products, the defender and the commuter cases, I love both and will continue to purchase from otterbox for the sake of protecting my phone.

Works well I like that it will hold my phone with face out or face in for increased protection. This is the second one I have purchased due to the first one breaking at the clip when it got caught on the seat belt release as I got out of the car. Yes it broke but I don't feel it was a bad manufacture issue or design flaw I feel any case in that situation would have broke.

I've been using this product for over three years and find it to be excellent. There is no other "protection" for cell phones which come close to OtterBox. I've recently upgraded to the iPhone 6S+ and have bought the Defender. The best defense for my iPhone.

Excellent protection for my phone. Survived many falls! After I managed to keep the first one for so long till it was dirty and the screen smudged beyond cleaning I replaced it with a fresh new colors.
First lasted years!
The screen is not quite as sensitive as the phones but I got used to it quickly. It does make the phone bigger to hold - but it is worth the protection
