Changed my life!

I have had my Samsung about four months now and it has continued to be the best electronic purchase I have ever made. The value is astounding, and the picture amazing.
I sold my 52 inch RCA rear projection to help diffray acquisition costs which were very competitive compared to an LCD of the same size. I have a Samsung BP-1500 Blue Ray player coupled to it and runit through my Yamaha 5.1 stereo.
The picture on this television is extraordinary. When playing movies at 1080p and 24 fps it takes my breath away.
I have run it pretty much non-stop for four months and it is just cruising right along. The minimal black frame does not distract from the picture, and in my den the television looks massive.
It has plenty of HDMI and other inputs, and the only thing I haven't tried is the off-air antenna system, as I use DirecTV. The remote is very functional and has a great range.
I think the value of this television is its strongest point. As a wonderfull alternative to LCD types, the LED engine means no bulbs to change, no color wheels to make noise.
I cannot recomment this television strongly enough.

I read lots of excellent reviews for this TV before I purchased it BUT was not prepared for just how GREAT it is.
I thought my previous 4 year old 46" RPTV had a good picture BUT this 61"er BLOWS it away - it is GREAT. I LOVE this TV - it is an EXPERIENCE....the features, contols/settings, and ease of use is unbelievable. KUDOS to Samsung!

Biggest Bang for the Buck!

I gave away a Panasonic 56-inch HDTV that I thought had an excellent picture on it. After viewing this Samsung, I was wrong. This Samsung has a truly great picture and the size of the 61-inch screen literally takes you to the movies. I can't imagine that there is anything out there for the price that can give this set competition. The only flaw it has is the PnP only functions with the analog tuner which will become useless in February 2009. The Panasonic would show a PnP from any connected source. But, I wouldn't trade this set for anything else. It also lowered my electric bill by almost ten dollars. You can't beat this bargain!! Gorgeous color, bright picture.

Very good quality

The only thing lacking is (PIP). I previously purchased an earlier model and had problems with bulb pcb. The replacement product was a newer model, however I lost the (PIP) feature, which I used quite often during football season. No problems with this model, and it has been in service daily for over a year without any fault(s).

Great DLP

I am an engineer that over-analyzes every purchase I make. I compared many DLP TV's both specs and looked at the pictures in stores. The purchase came down to just two units- the Samsung and a Sony. They were close, but the Samsung won out on picture quality. After purchase, we have thoroughly enjoyed the set.

I did a lot of research on this unit prior to purchacing but I still never knew I would be this happy with its performance. The resolution is so vivid and bright, you think you were watching a plasma TV. There is no motion blur whatsoever, that I can detect and that is a big deal for me. Having 3 HDMI Inputs also is also huge for me so I can add high end accesories now and in the future . Best purchase I have made in a long time.

I have had many different televisions but this one I love. I have had other DLP TVs but all had expensive bulb replacements that I had to purchase on a 7-11 month basis. I paid for the television itself twice. This TV has no such problem. I have had it for a year with no blank screen. For video games it is fast and has a great picture. The only problem is that the speakers on the tv itself are not that great.
