awesome lcd tv hold the attitude

I first off have to say I love this TV. Bought it and played with it for a few days. Works really well as a second monitor, as it is not huge, but it has some screen real estate as well. The 720p part is really nice, because this set actually does the 1360x768 which is the highest mode of 720p. The specifications are partially incorrect, as this particular model has a USB SERVICE ONLY port, not a thumb/external drive connection. That is probably because the specs are generic to this particular LG 30 series, except for the size of course between models. I also found this set to work really well for gaming: It is that perfect mating of size/clarity so you can pretty much sit right up on it if you have to (cramped dorm room/end of bed sort of situation). I highly recommend this television for getting your feet wet in the whole HD scene.

Wonderful w/a problem

The picture is beautiful and my husband and I basically love the tv. However-----the sound does not, I repeat, does not stay the same when changing channels. It goes from a very nice listening level to a very high loud level. We bought this tv because one of the features was that the sound level stayed the same, no jumping around. That seems to be the only thing we have a problem with.

I purchased the 32LG30 tv a few years ago and I havent had 1 problem with it. It is a great tv. I would recommend LG tv's to anyone.

Love my LG

My 13 year old T.V finally died on me after all these years. So I wanted to finally get into the real world and have a HDTV flat screen. Oh my. I absolutely love it. My daughter and her husband had bought a LG a few years ago and my parents had bought a LG last year and I was sold on buying nothing but a LG, so when I went shopping for a TV I compared other brands, prices, pictures and I was sold that this was the only brand for me. I could not find another TV (at the time) that was as affordable as this one. I love it, has what I need for a TV and great picture!!!!! I have had no problems with it:)

Great TV all Around

We purchased this TV 3 years ago and it is a really great TV for the money. You get a lot of bang for your buck with all the inputs and color options. Even though it is 720p, being only 42in makes it look like a 1080p tv. Would recommend to anybody and would buy another one if I had a bigger house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the unit overall. Only have 2 dislikes. 1. You have to lower the top shelf all the way down on the right side in order to use a 1 gallon size pitcher which causes you to lose a shelf completely. 2. The small door on the right side does not shut/ latch very well. You have to insure it is closed or you could slam it shut.

I've had this HDTV for about 6 months now and I'm certainly glad I bought this. With this being my first HDTV I was very cautious on which brand to buy from. I looked around at all major brands and came to this very HDTV.
The picture quality is great at 720p. Some people may complain that the blacks aren't black enough but I don't see any noticeable difference and my vision is fine. The sound is crisp and more than loud enough for me.
I like how easy it is to calibrate the display. Its a real plus to this HDTV. You can quickly switch from custom modes for TV, gaming, and Blu-Rays. The 3 HDMI ports and single PC port are a nice touch also. Perfect for an all in one entertainment center with your PC and general needs for a television.
If your looking for a medium room HDTV look no further. I've had absolutely no problems with this HDTV and will be sticking with the LG brand from now on.
