Don't Purchase, dead after 1 1/2 years

We purchased this TV June 2008 and Nov 2009 it stopped working. The power indicator turns blue and then back to red not turning on.
Very poor quality if it can't last more then a year and half.

Not what I expected.

This set has several flaws. 1) The wall mounting studs on the rear of the set are set in plastic. Pulling on a screw inserted into the stud flexes the plastic back of the set. There is a caution not to mount the set on a slanted wall in the instruction manual but this isn't stated in any of the advertisement literature. 2) When the set has no signal from the antenna input you get a bright snowy screen and noise from the speakers. Other sets of similar quality have a black screen with no signal input and no hiss or sound from the speakers. I'll give this set away to someone when I find a bargain price on a different brand.

This TV is the best for the money. The picture can be adjusted to meet the needs of every person watching. The colors are awesome especially when using an HDMI cable versus an analog cable or SD cable. The only problem I have with the TV is the sound which could be due to the location of the speakers

"I picked this tv up over this past weekend to put in my master bedroom. I had to go to three different stores to find it as they were sold out almost everywhere. Anyhow, got the tv home, hooked it up to my standard def Dish Network receiver and my OTA antenna. HD from my antenna looks unbelievable. The picture on this tv is very good. Colors are bright and the picture is so clear. Even standard def from my dish looks pretty good too.
Pros: Quality, Performance, Style/Design

Ihave this tv, and I think it is great, great picture. And the HDMI is wonderful. I has four HDMI'S, one is used for DVI, AND THE OTHERS ARE hdmi plug ins. This TV is INCREDABLE. I wou recommend this TV TO MY FRIENDS OR ANYONE ELSE. It has everything it describes in the HANDBOOK and more. I kown that you will love it, like I do.

Love this TV!

This is a must-have addition to your home system. I use it as a display for my Vista computer, and just added a Blu-ray disc player and upgraded the sound to a home theater system. It will knock your socks off! The images displayed are awesome!

Great small TV!

We needed a new TV for our kitchen, and after looking at the pictures and features of several, we decided to try the 26LG30. We had never purchased an LG TV so were somewhat hesitant, but it has proved to be excellent! We have had absolutely no problems with it, the picture and sound are excellent. The tuning and graphics are easy to use and work well. Even though my wife's kitchen chair is very close to it, the picture is still above average. We find the remote works well and is easy to use, also the buttons on the set. The swivel base is VERY handy, and the connections on the back very accessible. We highly recommend it!

Nice small television

For the money, this is an excellent product. The picture is wonderful, and I love being able to change the aspect ratio for different broadcasts. I have had the TV for four months and have discovered all the channels my cable company provides both in low and high definition. I would love to have a blue ray disc player to see high-def movies on this set. The audio output signal to my stereo is at a constant level and does not vary when changing the television speaker volume. It really should be variable so it can be muted with the TV remote.
