great lcd

I bought this as an open item for much less and i couldn't be happier. Bought it to be mainly used for a PS3 and a second monitor. i was thinking of returning as the prior comment about how dark it got in dark scenes but i resolved that by going into the Advanced settings and changing the Black Level to "High" and it solved it, from there i tweaked the settings and the screen is beautiful.
Pros: Quality, Performance
Cons: Features/Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad Sound

I got this TV as a reward so I have nothing invested or I would return it. The picture is fine but the sound is horrible. I can honestly say it's more like an AM radio. It would be helpful if it had adjustments for bass or trebble or even outputs but it doesn't. There are different modes but no noticable difference. I would look for a better TV. I have always been completely satisfied with LG products until this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
