Great First LCD TV

Wow I hooked this thing up to my cable signal and I didn't realize I had HD programing. How nice. The first 3 months I had this TV I used it as a computer monitor and I will state that the reason I gave it 3 stars on the performance is because of the slow response time. It just can't keep up with high FPS computer games. However it does great with my xbox360. And TV has never looked so good. The sleek black design is very attractive.
Functionality is very good although I wish I was able to name the channels. The remote is very handy but nice thing is that all menus are acsessable from the side panel if you lose your remote or your batteries die.
The best thing about this tv to me is that I got it free via a website I turn in points from cola bottles. Sweet.
Nice sound also. The rear panel has a vast amount of input options as well as a digial optical out for sound.
Very nice TV.

Beautiful picture

I purchased this from Best Buy, for my kitchen in white. I am so happy with my purchase. It has a beautiful picture and the menus are very easy to understand. The remote control has a direct button for close caption options and also for the screen viewing ratios so it is very easy to switch back and forth from widescreen to regular. They aren't buried in the menu function of the remote comtrol. I also like the buttons on the side of the TV as opposed to the front. Less finger prints to see. I looked at another TV but the manual buttons were on the front and they were the invisible type and I just invisioned all the fingerprints on the shiny surface and then not being able to see them in the dark. I used the manual buttons a lot esp since the remote control is not always where I'd like it to be and esp when I get a quick call and need to turn down the volume or turn the TV off. The other option I like is the volume leveling option. This allows the volume to stay the same level during commercials. It is so annoying when all of a sudden a commercial starts yelling at you. Thank you Samsung designers for thinking of everything.

I am so glad I purchased this TV. Don't hesitate to buy one it is all good. Great picture and sound. No problems with it at all. It looks beautiful in my room.

Great TV. No problems. Performance, Features and Picture are first rate. It would be nice if there were a signal strength indicate for aiming TV antenna. This TV is a winner and well worth the money
