Nokia Lumia 920 is STILL a great phone!

I have to laugh whenever someone shows me their newest iPhone. Their hardware just can't compare to my Lumia 920. The iPhone 6 just now caught up to it after more than 2 years of trying. Apple simply ships the same boring OS in a different can. They haven't innovated in years.
The Windows Phone ecosystem is constantly evolving and improving and the Lumia 920 was one of the biggest steps for the lineup. It's a solid phone that, even now, is snappy in performance and it's still not lacking for features.

Going on two years of awesomeness

I love my Lumia. Had it for two years now and still going strong. Build quality is fantastic. App store is very robust and still growing. Hopefully Microsoft will keep the Nokia ethos strong as they move forward with Lumia. I've used other smartphones and devices and the WP8.1 OS is as good if not better than most of them.
Pros: Personal, Business

The Nokia Lumia 920 Experience “From A Happy Customer”!

I've been running the (Cyan# update for several days now on my Lumia 920 on AT&T.
The update makes my user experience feel like I'm on a new device; this is the best update I've gotten so far for my Lumia.
Cortana is not a gimmick; the ability of the software to learn your habits and add useful info and shortcuts to the experience is awesome.
Although it would probably never happen, Cortana could easily enjoy life as an OS of its own for hands-free navigation in autos, home automation, and other areas. Voice recognition is the best I've ever experienced and the ability to speak normally and not rely on commands makes it more practical.
The forthcoming #Denim# update promises to add passive-listening so you won't have to manually activate Cortana. If they can pull that off without a hitch, it will make it a fairly compelling reason to give it a try for those not already tethered to Android or the iPhone.
Outside of the Cortana addition, the rest of the update is great but let's be honest, these are all things that should have been in the OS at least a year ago.
However, the OS is now on par with Android and iOS and in some regards is better than either.
I won't bore anyone with specific details because it would only be relevant to the two other people in the U.S. besides me running the OS ;-)
Nonetheless, if you haven't given Windows Phone a look lately, try a device running #Cyan) it might impress you!

Nearly a Perfect Phone

I have had my Lumia 920 for two years now and have loved nearly every minute of that time spent with it. I eagerly anticipated its release and switched providers to get my hands on one. Now at the end of my contract and with a second smartphone provided by work, I could easily do away with my personal account but I find myself thinking I will keep my personal contract just so I can stick with Windows Phone and try out the Lumia 1520.
I love everything about Windows Phone and try to sell my friends and family on it every chance I get. I hate that it has such a small market share behind Android and iOS though because folks don't know what they are missing out on... Microsoft needs to kick the advertising campaign into high gear here.
Anyway, Lumia 920... everything has been perfect with this device from the brilliant display and fast processor to the excellent photographs it takes. The only reason I did not give this phone 5 stars is because of the dust issue with the front-facing camera. Otherwise it is perfection defined.

I appreciate the the 8.1 update because its been a big change for Microsoft but there's one problem, the apps on this phone are great but I'm more interested in the games. I noticed that the windows market there was absolutely no interesting games and the ones that were cost money and its pointless guys I noticed u guys barely have the same games that IOS and android share can you guys please add more thank you
