The first smartphone I haven't wanted to root

My first smartphones were Windows Mobile, and I liked them because there was a large community of developers who were able to cook new versions with apps and features added that I could install onto my phone. And then Android came, and I could really mess with it, getting someone's ROM image, or customizing and building one myself. I'm a developer, and I like the ability to change my device like that.
Then I tried out the Lumia 900. I had no inclination to change it, and every inclination to write apps that worked within it. After Windows Mobile, Android, and what I'd seen on my friends' iPhones, not only was the top interface interesting and useful, but the apps themselves were, with their smooth vertical and horizontal scrolling that works as an intuitive portal to represent a much larger amount of information that would fit on the screen. I got the 920, and then Windows Phone 8 and 8.1, and watched a great interface get better and better.
The phone itself feels solid and smooth. I've dropped it a few times, and other than a minor scuff, it's still in great looking condition. The pictures look great, it sounds great, and the screen works well indoors and outdoors. It's a very impressive piece of hardware, a great platform for a great OS.

Windows 8 allows unmatched ease of use across a variety of devices

My Nokia Lumia 920 with Windows 8 allows a smooth transition between all my devices. Utilizing my Outlook.com account I am able to sync my phone, Surface, and desktop. I recently had to replace my desktop and was amazed that with a simple click of a button all my settings and apps were loaded onto my new PC.

This phone is perfect for me, instead of 5 pages to Rome through you but a scroll down to any phone features or marked pages to return to. The lens on this camera gets clear steady images in HD. Solid phone not thin and easily broken stands up to being dropped. I love this phone. Thanks Nokia!

Its a tough phone. I work hard outside and this one has been really good with the weather, falls down and easy to use. I like so much windows 8.1.
Pros: Personal, Business, my 24 hrs. working restig entertainig etc., its good everywhere everytime., i would like the lumia 1020 in 5" would be great!, plus a sd 128gb option.

Almost perfect since 8.1 upgrade

Nice display, good camera, lots of user control of configuration, interface, etc.
To be perfect, it needs: a few more apps, removeable battery, micro SD, and a tiny bit more user control (Windows 8.1 has almost gotten there).

Best performing smartphone in the category

When it comes to ease of use, nothing can beat the Windows Phone. On the hardware front, Nokia did an awesome job in terms of screen quality, touch responsiveness and the crystal clear photography. Wireless charging is a huge plus. Once you get used to it, you will never want to charge by other means.
Cons:
Lumia 920 is heavy.
Not sure if this is a h/w or s/w issue. But the screen flickers at times. Switching the screen off for a while resolves the issue.

Omg i got this phone in January of 2014 and so far , it's the best phone I've ever had. P.S., a little more battery life would be nice. Oh and can you add Five Nights At Freddy's to the store
