How bad the phone is.

The worst device ever. I'm the kind of guy who like to play temple run every once and a while. Going to the store on this phone they only carry about 20 games 20 GAMES. Now why in the heck would I get a 32 GB phone if I can't use 28 GB of it everything app on this store is a number 2. Another thing the "HD" on this phone is not what you expect it to be I've had the iPhone 4 4s nexus 7 ECT, Let me you tell phones for 2007 have better quality then this phone. The only perk about this phone the battery life but I could really say anything because barley using any GB.

Great phone mediocre battery life

I use this phone as my personal phone. While it took me a little bit to get used to the size, weight and lack of apps, I am very happy with it (coming from an iPhone for the past 5 years). The lack of apps was a problem in the beginning, however, most of the major apps have made the transition to WP8. The screen is large and clear. The screen is nearly indestructible. I love how it integrates everything seamlessly between calendars, contacts, texts, chats, etc ...
Downfalls are that mine gets really hot sometimes and the battery life is pretty bad. Even using battery saver and shutting down any background tasks the battery life is still pretty bad. I'm not talking about streaming music all day or watching movies. I'm talking, it sitting on the desk next to me at work and it dying in 4-5 hours or dying at night after being fully charged. Maybe I got the bad apple out of the bunch.

Great phone, terrible battery life

I commute to work twenty minutes and in that twenty minutes the battery goes down by at least 16% everyday. I learned to take a charger with me everywhere I go. I've turned off wi-fi, eliminated some of my live tiles, turned on battery saver and done everything humanly possible to save battery life. Still a no go sadly, other than that I love the phone. I use it for everything, email, calendar, viewing work documents, social apps, videos and camera. I love this phone save for the battery, I finally got out of the apple trap but if Nokia wants to keep me as a customer after this phone they need to make a better battery.

i love this Phone and all its features (even if i only have w7) i love that i can share my one note folders with easy and that i only have to charge it just about every 32hours without it completely dying on me but as i venture in too opening up my own business im in need of keeping up with social media and the easiest way to download and up load pictures. that sadly isnt with windows. this is my only complaint with the phone. the pictures i take are amazing better than the iphone but with editing i can get the same effects if not the same quality. I've been fighting against getting an iphone since they came out and my entire family has had every last one i must too jump on the ban wagon. :( if more apps were readily available i would still be a windows girl. ( sadly this is the same reason i gave up my blackberry over a year ago)

Visually stunning...but some things REALLY should be optional that aren't

Love the windows compatability....I pulled up powerpoint presentations from class, adobe, word documents...etc. Fantastic. Display is clear, bright, and...very important..ACCURATE. Touch texting is by far more accurate than most, if not all competion.
However...
There are a number of things that have zero options for turning off/on that almost every other phone allows you to control: 1. auto-rotate feature...very annoying if you are lying down or leaning - can't be switched off. 2. automatic text preview...shows the ID of the person texting you and the first few words of the text on top of EVERY screen you have open. If the screen is locked/off...it will illuminate and display this info. zero privacy. 3. No built in photo lock or file lock. Nothing can be made secure without DL third party apps for locking...outside of just locking the entire phone.
Pros: Personal, Business, school

Great look, battery life, not so great

The phone looks awesome, was very excited to get it, but was quite disappointed with the battery life and the fact that it gets extremely hot if used for a while.. I use my phone, maybe more than others, and the battery just dies, while plugged in charging, I have had 3 of these phones so far, not something I would recommend to anyone asking the good things about this phone. I was really really wanting a change from apple, but this phone did not convince me. If it wouldn't over heat and die on me when I am using it, would love it. But it happens daily. Can't wait to upgrade to another phone.
