[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this unit for four years now and it is still in excellent working order. My only complaint is the noise now when it spins but I think that is due to our recent move. I have the accompanying dryer and it works great as well. I love the load sensing feature because it saves me money on my water bill. The pedestal drawers come in handy for storage. If you take care of your washer, it will take care of you.

I hated this machine from the 2nd week we had. Always smells bad. Extremely hard to clean inside door seal, stayed slimy amd mildew. After having it for 6 years the tub got a crack and washer overflowed into my laundry room, kitchen and down into basement. Probably about 20 gallons of water before we could get it to drain amd shut off. Cheaply made. I will never but LG anything again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If a warranty gives you any thoughts as to why you chose a washer don’t count on it. My washers motor burned out after 6 years. 4 weeks later still waiting for a replacement. Might as well buy a new washer! And it won’t be an LG

It doesn't matter what I do, it stayd coverd in mold. I don't close the door and i wipe it down, but the mold is still there and I CAN NOT get it off. HELP!!!

stops mid wash repeatedly regardless of wash size.

Additionally I've cleaned the tub multiple times with varuous producrs to no avail. it still smells moldy regardless of the season. new this week, the detergent is not flowing through into the wash, which means the clothes after hitting restart x 4-5 are now not clean?!!!!!!!

It is great to see that you are doing regular tub cleanings Shaune. We recommend using Affresh as a tub cleaner. To remove or avoid an odor issue, it is also recommend to clean the rubber door gasket often and to leave the door open when not in use. This will allow the interior to completely dry out.
If the washer is stopping in mid cycle, it could indicate that the load is too far out of balance to spin and you may need to redistribute the load. If you have tried this already then we need to do further troubleshooting and need to ask that we move to a platform that supports back and forth messaging. Smelly and Moldy

I use Affresh monthly and wipe the rubber gasket every time I do wash. Still smells and the mold that has built up on the rubber is impossible to remove! After every each, water sits in between the rubber and has to be absorbed by a sponge! I used to keep the door open but I cant even do that now because the odor is overwhelming! Extremely disappointed and disgusted with this machine! I bought LG because I have had other LG appliances and have been very happy with them. But not this machine!!!

This dryer is okay. It does its job but not perfectly and not efficiently, sometimes not at all. The features are there but don’t work 100% of the time. There are times where I open the machine only to find that my clothes are still wet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this washer has a large capacity which is nice and worked great for the years i had it. the last year i had it the motor went out, which was replaced but then subsequently had another issue with it draining and the motor went out again. at that point it was no longer under warranty and the out of pocket didn't make any sense. it gave me 6 good years.
