Dont Buy!!!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Complete failure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this model on 8/23/16 to replace an existing 6 1/2 year old LG washer that was repeatedly displaying a door error code (de). Delivered 8/25 and was DOA. First load of clothes and the machine displayed "de1" error code. Unplugged, reset, tried other wash settings. No luck. Went back to retailer and ordered replacement, same model. Mistake... Second washer was delivered 8/27 and croaked after one day. Same error message plus added bonus of repeatedly turning on and off, continuously chiming. Lesson learned. Returned to retailer for refund and ordered another brand. So disappointed because we have LG fridge, microwave and dishwasher as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a washer and a dryer as a pair. The washer is excellent, has more features than our previous machine. It's intuitive but reading the manual is a must due to the new features. We haven't used yet all the available settings but everything we tried works fine. The steam feature is impressive even tough it adds to wash time.

Another LG Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this a few days now, replacing a 12 year old LG Tromm with countless hours. It's attractive, quiet, effective and easy to use. The steam feature is handy for bedding and pillows with a houseful of rescue dogs. We are most pleased so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i did get a little hoodwinkled by the store that sold me the washer and dryer, the picture showed the washer and dryer on the pedestal base by i missed the small print that said base must be bought separately.....so now i have to go buy matching bases....:(

Works Great, but Noisy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had an LG front loader for 10 years and it finally broke down. Went and bought another brand top loader and had to return it as it did not clean my kids extra dirty sports gear. So I went back to LG front loader and I love it! It has so many features and most importantly it gets my kids muddy gear clean. I withheld a star because it is a noisy machine! Sounds like someone is breaking into my house for the first 5 minutes. For some reason the stop and start of the water is loud. But I can totally live with it. My clothes are clean and in less time, several of the loads are about 30 minutes instead of 1 hour.
