Runs fairly quietly and not often. I bought this based on a review in Consumer Reports. It would have been nice to order a reverse door. Instead I had to pay an extra $100+ for overpriced parts and spend an hour or so installing them. When the kit arrived it was missing a hinge so my install was set back for a week waiting for the part.
Overall I'm pleased with the quality, appearance and function of the cooler.
