Love it!

It has great features such as the simmer burner. The stovetop and control panel are very easy to clean and the oven cooks evenly.

Love our Electrolux Range
on June 12, 2013

Our kitchen required a more compact range and this 30" filled the bill. With a separate warming drawer, this range offers the flexibility of much larger units. It looks great in the kitchen and the Wave-Touch controls are easy to use. The stainless steel panel underneath the burners is easy to clean and the blue oven interior is well-lighted. Here are some minor draw-backs: the flat glass panel covering the controls is in front of the burners, so care needs to be taken not to drag any cooking utensils over the glass and scratch it. And the burner location indicators at each control knob are susceptible to fading with repeated cleaning. But these are minor concerns relative to the overall quality of the range and its many features.

30"dual fuel range

perfect turkey probe is awesome! turkey and chicken turns out so juicy and quick too! just used the slow cook option with pork ribs for 3 hours with a spicy rub, and then threw them on the grill to "cook" the bbq sauce on and they fell off the bone!! super yummy!! the racks are about 2" to short to hold a costco take and bake pizza, so I have to cut that part of it to make it fit. that's the only complaint!

Cooking Like a Pro!
on September 26, 2013

The Dual Fuel Built -In Range with Wave Touch makes cooking like a pro a reality for the average everyday cook.  I love the ease of the Wave Touch feature. It feels so modern and up to date!  The cooking surface is as easy to clean as my previous electric cooktop stove. The movable shelves are great for fitting large casserole dishes in the oven. I love the cobalt blue interior and the oven light as it fades from light to dark. So easy to operate. Just a click of the dial and the burners are immediately fired and ready to go.  Love it, love it, love it!

Love the range, however........

Love the range! With that said, the horizontal panel that holds the controls needs to be slanted down from the cooktop. It becomes soiled with cooking and becomes especially messy when frying and sauteing. I did have to replace the curcuit panel after only nine months of use. Electrolux and the repairman were both courteous and efficient. I would recommend a warranty.

Died in the first 9 months

Computer keypad went out after 9 months. Pretty much made me realize that I had better buy an extended warranty. When it works, it's great, but the uncertainty of it's reliability is troubling.

Lower drawer would not open
on December 18, 2013

We wanted the combination of the gas stove top and electric oven. This product was the best solution for us. For the first month, it performed beautifully. Then on Thanksgiving morning, with two casseroles warming, the bottom drawer got stuck. It would not open. The next day, I called Electrolux. A nice American rep coordinated a service call with a local company. The technician came two days later and found that a spring had broken and was preventing the drawer from opening. At this price level, having a spring spoil your Thanksgiving dinner is simply unacceptable. The technician ordered and replaced two springs - left and right - and the drawer is working well. However, we cannot help but wonder if it will happen again.
Other than this, we enjoy the unit. The design is very nice. The display pad soils very easily. We have actually cut out a piece of foil pan that we place over the display when frying. Then we wipe off the foil or place it in the dishwasher. In the printed materials, Electrolux offers to send you a free griddle if you pay $9.95 for shipping. We received this promptly. It is small and would be very messy for frying bacon, etc. But, for pancakes and such, it works well. We have a love/hate relationship with gas. We do not like the mess and clean up (vs. a smooth top). But, we much prefer cooking with gas. By the way, our friend has the smooth top (electric) version of this unit. She loves it and has had zero problems with it. That is one reason we chose the Electrolux. Also, we have the matching dishwasher and it performs beautifully.
