Great value for the price. I've only owned it for about 6 weeks but I am totally satisfied with it's performance. Would recommend to anyone.

Great product! It has a really nice picture when upscaling to 1080p. It automatically stretches the picture on 4:3 picture dvds which I don't like but otherwise its great.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
Cons: Features/Settings

What sold me was the SVideo connector which very few DVD Players have available. Excellent picture quality on my SD TV.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

Bought as a replacement for an older unit. Very surprised at how thin it was, will fit just about anywhere and blends in with other components. Easy to use and movies as well as cd's play excellent. I would recommend this to anyone. Always did like the eject button. Go to the store and buy it, priced reasonably.

Solid DVD Player

DVD player works fine, but the USB slide show feature is so slow and feature-free it is next to useless, so don't buy this player if you plan to use it for slide shows.
A common problem of all DVD players this thin is that it's lightweight and it takes less effort to move the unit than depress a button. You need to use 2 hands to use it - 1 to hold it in place and 1 to press a button. Another issue is that the feet on the unit are so short that there's little space for air flow to cool it. I put a stack of pads at each corner to raise it up about 1".
Picture-wise this is a great little DVD player. Picture quality is excellent.

My LG model DN898 DVD player is easy to use, and delivers an upscaled movie that's much better in quality than a regular DVD player does.

Heavy on Design, Poor on Performance

I had 4 different LG DVD players, and every single one of them performed very poorly. I have other LG products that performed very admirably, but I wouldn't recommend LG DVD players.
Pros: Style/Design
Cons: Value, poor performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
