I am sad to say that I am really disappointed in this printer. I don't believe it has earned the privalege to have the Energy Star sticker on it. Ours didn't power down as we were led to believe it would. I am a big fan of HP all of our printer needs have been met by you. Perhaps timing is everything - the concept is awsome but the technology just isn't there yet. I'm quite confident you will develop a product that will be truly environmentally friendly and efficient to run.

I had an old officejet 6110 all in one after almost 6 years the fax feed dosen't work so I want another officejet the j6480 man this is a beauty it automaticly prints on both sides of the paper when I recieve work orders in adobe pdf format. crisp and clear printing. accessing camera pictures with the built in card reader is easy. I just wish the software wasn't so big on resources

I love the Fax it self recieve a fax even when answering Machine is on, Fast copys love it, and a good as orginals. Thanks HP

Otstanding All -in -One

I replaced my ageing OJ5610xi with the OJ J6480.
Lots of great features, easy to set up with both USB and Network prtocols.
I run a Windows 2003 Server in my Home Network and the install of the (downloaded) enterprise level software went flawlessly.
The networked client web interface is excellent!
I strongly recommend this All-in One for those looking for a home office level upgrade with a full range of cpabilities @ a very attractive price

This printer works great. It makes great pictures to. Easy instruction and great price. I would and have recommended this unit to my friends. works better than my old printer by far.

I've owned this printer for about a month, as a replacement for an older all-in-one HP model. So far it meets my needs very well, as a home/office guy. The speed and print quality is very good, as are the features. I especially like the built-in duplex printing and wired/wireless network ability.
The only minus I can note is the hungry appetite for ink. The regular carts last about half of what the specs say. I just installed a couple of the XL carts, so we will see...

Solid, inexpensive AIO printer!

Having read the reviews on another site, I still bought the printer. I run Vista 64-bit on my main computer (the one the printer is physically hooked up to via USB cable) and had no trouble hooking it up. I followed the advice of the posters on that other site who said not to use the included CD. Instead, I downloaded the driver from the HP support site and loaded it up that way. Bought it two weeks ago to replace a busted printer, but just hooked it up two days ago and it hasn't burped once. No printer issues, no internet issues, no issues...period. Now, I have the Vista computer sharing the printer with my other two computers (older desktop and my laptop--both running XP) on my home network and they are both able to print to it just fine. The duplexer works great, fax, the color is nice...the whole 9-yards. Highly recommended!
