Compressor noise

I had to have a technician come in 2 days after the unit was installed. A fan blade or two was hitting against the covering and sounded like a jet engine revving up. I'll have to have them come back because it is starting up again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great frig!

Was pleasantly surprised when I received GE frig. I ordered from a pix, store did not have my almond color in the store. It is nice looking, love the textured finish, water feature works great, keeps everything nice & cold!

If you want to know what I like about it, it's the very deep and tall water and ice dispenser insert on the outside of the freezer door. If you want to know what I don't like about it, it is that it makes so many strange loud noises, the inside of the refrigerator has a lot of wasted space due to the fixed bin, with no ability to change it to your specific needs, and the lighting inside both the fridge and the freezer, is very poor compared to other refrigerators.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reliability - especially of the compressor

Have lived with this Refrigerator for about 5 months. Not necessarily the best features or bells & whistles - but it has worked well.
