Nice side by side .

We purchases this as part of an appliance upgrade package for a vacation home. The only complaint is there does not seem to be a way to cut off the icemaker when we are not there for extended periods. Everything else operates as expected.

This refrigerator has so much space in it and everything is adjustable. It cooled down within 45 mins after plugging it in. Makes a boatload of ice in no time. Just love it.

Some quirks, but overall a good product

Bought this 7 months ago and it's nice enough. The water filter is very easy to change out and the shelves in the doors are very sturdy. I wish I had gone for something with more freezer space, but that's a personal lifestyle sort of thing. I'm disappointed in the icemaker because the design causes ice cubes to sometimes build up in areas that can't be reached by the mechanism, so every couple weeks I have to pull out the ice drawer and knock down the ice cubes so it works properly again. I also have to hold my glass up very close to the dispenser when I'm getting cubes or my hand and the floor will get sprayed with ice shavings.

This refrigerator is very similar to the one that was in my home when I bought it. My first GE frig lasted me 11 years. I love the temperature reading on the door so you know how cold it is inside. The color is beautiful and I know this will last another 11 years.

We love the size and compartments of this frig. The doors do not swing close easily so we have to make sure to push on them. The in door ice and water features are very handy. The ice maker does not turn off when full so we have to do that manually. (the full tray arm seems to be too short to be tripped by the full ice tray.)

I love everything about this refrigerator except for the fact that the little light on the outside keeps going out and I keep replacing the bulb (3 in 3 months)- service man coming next week to look at it again. Also the ice maker makes so much ice that it spills all over the freezer
