GE Still Does BIsque

My 16 yr old bisque GE fridge died and I needed a replacement. This model was about the same size inside and out and available in bisque. The freezer and fridge drawers and shelving configuration is different and not as usable ... as a result the interior feels smaller. Energy efficiency is great but the smaller compressor means it's running almost all the time ... quietly but still apparent. On occasion, the ice maker fill and some other component make some unusual sounds (clicks, popping)but it's not much louder than the compressor and stops quickly. The digital freezer and fridge temp control and display on the front is very nice and seems accurate. The bisque is almost the same (it's just a hint lighter) and works well with the other appliances and cabinetry. Overall a good buy.

This refrigerator is so quite you'll wonder if it's still on. The amount of storage space in both compartments is awesome and it makes ice very quick.

Nice Fridge

This has been a decent replacement refrigerator. My only concern has been the door swings to wide and opens into our glass pantry door. We asked the dealership to help us find a solution and they were not any help. My husband figured out a solution on his own. The fridge should have had an adjustment on the door.

I had an energy auditor come out, and needed to replace my other refrigerator. The newer one dosent give me as many options for moving shelves. Although the cubic size is the same, theres not as much room. Freezer bottom drawer is smaller as well. Getting in and out of ice bin was awful as welI don't care for this brands setup as much as my hotpoint.
however the gentleman that did the audit was very nice.

Still getting use to the "normal" noises of this refrigerator. Last GE refrigerator was not this noisy. Not that it's super noisy, I'm just very sensitive to the dripping sounds.
