This is the second fridge I'd bought in the last two years. One bought for a previous home was stainless steel, not a GE, and was left when the house was sold. Price was the main reasons for buying the GE product. The GE has much more room and the same features as the other brand and was over $500 less. I enjoy the ease of keeping the white fridge looking clean and new. No more fingerprints and smudges every time the touch the fridge. The only complaint is the door ice dispenser is a little slow When dispensing full cubes.

I was looking for a bisque color to match my other appliances. GE had this one. We are happy with the space and the ice maker is a nice feature.

Needed Bisque

My new refrigerator was just delivered today. I needed a bisque one to match my other appliances. Additionally, bisque is the only color that, in my opinion, looks nice in a beige, tan and brown kitchen. While the inside and outside of the refrigerator looks very much like the one I am replacing (another brand), and while it is a very nice refrigerator, the quality of my new one just doesn't compare. The bottom refrigerator drawer is much smaller, all of the drawers aren't as sturdy, the freezer shelf ends have no "real" end caps and the handles on the doors are screwed on, rather that appearing to be part of the door. So why did I buy this one? There just are not many options when one wants a bisque refrigerator. My hope here is that this refrigerator doesn't need repair after repair like my more expensive one I am replacing. Additionally, I have a GE cooktop range, microwave and dishwasher and have never had one problem with them in 10 years!!
