Very poor performer

This is by far the most expensive dishwasher I've ever purchased and very likely the least effective. It simply does not wash the dishes. For one thing, there doesn't appear to be any significant water pressure. It apparently doesn't drain very well either, because it often has a bad odor. It packs very well, but the water connection for the upper tray only works in one position: it the other positions the tubing consistently pulls away from the tray, and then it won't connect to the water supply. Based on this experience and and a totally unproductive experience with another Electrolux product, I do not ever intend to buy any other Electrolux products.

Short lifespan

We purchased this top-of-the-line dishwasher from a large box store about 2 years ago. About 1 1/2 years later, it started making a loud noise when it would run. We had an appliance repairman look at it and he told us that it would cost more to repair it than to purchase a new washer. We opted to hold onto it since it still washed our dishes only to have it stop working completely about two months ago. Initially, we were very pleased with the quiet operation and sleek appearance of the Electrolux. However, after this lackluster experience, I would choose to purchase a brand with a better track record in the future.

Unsatisfied in every way

I purchased 6 electrolux appliances for my kitchen in 2009 (refrigerator, hood, dual fuel oven, microwave, dishwasher and mini refrig). Since that time they have ALL required repair. The frigerator and dishwasher re in constant repair. I purchased this "top line" brand b/c I didn't want to deal with any problems. I also purchased a "warrantee" on all the appliances b/c I didnt want to have any problems that would take time from my busy schedule. In the last 2 months I have had the refrigerator stop working and spoil ALL my food, Sears took 4 attempts to fix the problem over the course of 3 weeks. The following day the dishwasher broke, draining 2 feet of water all over my kitchen. After 5 weeks they still haven't been able to fix it. I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux appliance again. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had!!!!!!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The top rack is impossible to use.

Using the top rack of this dishwasher is an exercise in frustration. None of our cups, mugs or glasses fit. They fall over in the wider sections and don't fit at all in the narrower sections. There is a metal section that holds the adjustable part to move the rack up and down. This makes the wider section odd for that part. There is some sort of odd clip/narrow "adornment' on one of the spindles that also makes the wide section not usable. The bottoms of the cups and mugs fill with water no matter what setting I use. I don't know if I am making my description clear, but we have cups/mugs from Le Crueset, Fiesta Ware, and other types. Nothing fits. Everything falls over. If this dishwasher weren't so expensive, I think I would replace it.

Disappointed

This dishwasher was a warranty replacement for a similar model that was deemed unfixable. One year and one month later this dishwasher had an error code that required parts that took over 3 weeks to get. 2 months later, the same issue and the dishwasher leaks. I would not recommend this dishwasher to a friend..

Clean and Quiet

The Model EIDW6305GS is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. You can start this washer and stand by it and you can just barely hear it. When sitting across the room you cannot even tell it is running.
The Model EIDW6305GS does an outstanding job cleaning the dishes and the adjustable rack makes it a easy to arrange different size dishes. The stainless steel tub in my opinion contributes to the overall drying of the dishes as it helps keep heat in during the drying cycle.
If there are any drawbacks to the unit it would be that the normal cleaning cycles runs for 108 minutes which I believer is to long considering the dishes are clean long before this cycle comes to and end.
I would recommend this to a friend!
