Some very nice features

We selected this electric wall oven as a basic unit to supplement a freestanding 36 range. The nicest and most appreciated feature is a bread-rising setting, which we had not been fully aware of at the time of selection. The "wave-touch" part of the control system is a little too gimicky, and not the easiest to get to work. I live in fear that the electronic fancies will self destruct, leaving us with a non-functional unit and a thousand dollar repair bill.

This oven worked for five years then shut down!!!!!!! Would not have purchased such an expensive item if I did not expect it to last longer.

Extremely pleased with this oven

I have owned this oven with wave touch controls for four months now. It does everything it is advertised as doing, and does it very very well. When used with the included meat probe, meat comes out just as you want it. The oven converts cook time for you when using the convection feature. I am extremely pleased with this oven. The quality is immediately apparent when you open the door or look at the racks. I recommend this oven without reservation. Well with the money.

Electrolux Wall Oven Not As Great As I Expected

I was disappointed to learn that the racks could not be cleaned during the self-clean process. What good does it do to clean the walls of the oven if you don't also clean the racks?
Recently, when I tried to use the self-clean feature, it is not operational, a message repeatedly appearing that the racks must be removed while they ARE removed.
There is excessive condensation around the door of the oven which is damaging the wooden cabinetry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This oven is a cook's dream! I have owned this oven since last March, and each time I use it, I am pleasantly surprised, either due to a new setting I have discovered, or by the wonderful results. The features are incredible - even some features that I thought I would likely never use - I am happy to admit I am enjoying each and every feature, This oven is easier, quicker, or more precise than any appliance I have used. The convection convert feature is wonderful, the bread proofing is a handy tool, and the dehydrate function is a fun treat. Energy efficient and roomy enough to roast a turkey breast, while cooking a vegetable souffle, and heat garlic bread at the same time means not having to worry about one dish for dinner being ready before the rest of the meal. This oven has effectively eliminated the use for several of my other convenience appliances - such as my slow cooker and my warming drawer, I cannot wait to use the "Perfect Turkey" setting, this Thanksgiving!

Love my oven

This is a great oven. It heats quickly, cooks evenly and I love the touch controls. It offers a wide variety of options such as bread proofing, the ability to adjust the temp of the oven up and down by 5 degrees with the touch of a button during cooking time, convection baking, defrosting and slow cooking. The racks glide out effortlessly and I like the "theater" lighting.
