Very odd design flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the oven works well, there are certain peculiar design flaws. The timer feature, for example. The timer can only be turned off by turning off the oven. You can't reset the timer after each cookie sheet without turning off the oven and restarting it. This is despite the kitchen timer button saying "on/off" and the manual saying you push the kitchen timer button to turn it off. The service technician said, no, that is just a design flaw. The probe is also a poor design. If you plug it all the way in, it doesn't work. It must slightly out to function. Again, the service technician said it was just the design. Now, perhaps the technician is wrong. Nevertheless, it is two problems with the oven from the day of installation. Not a good start. At least it cooks well and is otherwise satisfactory. For the price, I'm not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bigger inside, easy to use, intuitive design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several other Bosch appliances that have been purchased to replace the original appliances in our home. Without fail, these have been superior to the originals. This Bosch oven is no exception. Though it is the same panel size (27"), it is much bigger inside, probably a result of better insulation design. I'm responsible for the turkey every year - the roasting pan that I had to wedge into the old oven now fits with room to spare. The oven did a perfect job on the turkey. And, my wife has made several batches of cookies and is extremely pleased with both regular and convection baking - she was afraid to try convection baking with the old oven.

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea how great this oven would be. Its so easy to use, and pretty much walks you though settings. The lower rack slides out so nicely so Im not concerned about something heavy tipping out. The convection cooked a 20 lb turkey in 3.5 hours and it was delicious and juicy....and I was able to fit a few more dishes on the top rack at the same time.
