Wonderful Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this oven to replace the oven that was original to our 1965 house and we are so glad that we did. This is truly a wonderful oven. The controls are very self explanatory and does everything that we wanted it to do. The built in meat thermometer is a great feature too.
We mainly wanted to comment on how easy this oven was to install. Using the instructions that were included we were able to do this completely on our own without any professional help. Additionally the ability to flush mount this oven is really a great feature. It looks so slick and was easy to do with a little modification of the existing cabinetry. Also given the cabinetry we could not go with a 30 inch oven and so we are just thankful that we could find such a great 27 inch oven.
Overall we are so happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend this to any one. It is a great oven that looks great in any kitchen.

Scary oven

The control panel lights up randomly, then turns itself off after 10 seconds. On three occasions the sensor has decided that the oven is too hot and turns itself off and locks the door. On these three occasions meals have been ruined: two because the oven refused to provide heat and the third because "bake" switched to "broil" and burnt it to a crisp. I think we need an exorcist. I thought Bosch was a reliable and quality brand, until we also had to change the wiring on our Bosch dishwasher. No more Bosch for us!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An excellent oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Roasting is my preferred cooking method. I use our Bosch oven 4 or 5 times a week. It consistently gives good results. In addition, it achieves the desired temperature quickly and maintains it. Meats, fish, and vegetables cook thoroughly without getting dried out thanks to the very tight seal. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. Finally, the design is quite sleek and perfectly matches our minimalist kitchen.

Love my Oven

The temperature is exactly what I request - tested it with an in oven thermometer. The convection mode is a dream. I highly recommend this model to anyone I know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this oven for about a month and it works just fine.
Pros: I like the soft close door, very nice looking, great features, like the ball bearing rack.
Cons: Reattaching the door after removal is a pain...the hinge doesn't want to stay in the slot (for lack of better term), and you won't know it until you try to open the door all the way, and it slams shut...this happened twice, and now my door is dented pretty bad on the inside. I don't think it's going to affect usability, but I'm not too thrilled about it. btw, I'm a pretty handy/mechanically inclined person...can't imagine what this would be like for others who aren't. Also, the oven light is pretty sensitive..I keep turning it on accidentally..i'll get used to it being there. oh, one more..the "Fast Preheat" isn't all that fast...it still takes like 20 min to get to 400 deg.
