Will never buy Faberware again

25 years ago my MIL bought me a set of Farberware pots and pans for Christmas and I have loved them. After 25 years I felt it was time to replace my set as the non stick surface was starting to fade. I purchased this set for Christmas 5 months ago and the non stick is already coming off - not fading but coming off. The lids do not fit tightly and let steam and sauce escape making a mess on the stove top. I know they are warrantied and that some excuse will be made not to replace them, and honestly if this is the new level of quality I do not want them replaced. It's great that you gave these sets out in order to up the ratings but the fact remains that any one who purchase these sets are wasting their money. Very disappointing to know that this company, who made such fine products 25 years ago, has let their standards fall so low. This product has the quality level of a pan is that of which you can get at any discount store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Farberware 8 inch and 10 inch twin pack Skillet set to try for Free as a Sample to Keep for my product review. I like these skillets. I am very impressed with the design of them. The only thing I have found I don't like about them is after they dry in the dishwasher they leak water that is trapped under the handle from the dishwasher water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had these pots for six months now and noticed that the sides of the pot on the outside is peeling called consumer services they told me it doesn't effect the cooking of food so they won't replace there product very disappointed with farberware.
Pros: Easy To Clean
Cons: Scratches Easily

TERRIBLE!!!

I received this as a Christmas gift last year. All of the pans have scratch marks, and I only used non metal utensils in the pans. The knobs on 2 of the lids broke. I have always hand washed these pans, and they have never been used in the oven. I NEED NEW PANS ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very CHEAP and NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Poor quality, teflon coming off.

I bought this set when I moved into my new place September 1st, 2012. It is now October 29th, 2021 so I have only been using this set for less than 2 months. Already the teflon is coming off the bottom of the large skillet and that is with regular gentle use. I've only ever used the plastic tools that came with this set, and handwash all my dishes. The beautiful aqua color is starting to discolor to an ugly greenish hue near the rivets and at the bottoms of the pans. As it is now, so much teflon has come up from the bottom of the skillet that the pan is no longer safe to use for cooking. That is after less than 2 months of use! Don't waste your money on this set.

My friend and I bought the same set, actually at the very same time. And she feels the same way. Her daughter bought the same set. These pots do not hold up for everyday casual cooking.
