Outstanding Quality Sound

The Clock Dock with Lightning Connector has everything I wanted in a iPod docking stereo station. It's like getting an alarm clock radio and iPod stereo system at the same time, with remote control.
First things first... It's directly compatible with the iPod Nano 7th Generation. Special thanks to the built-in Lightning connector. That was the main thing I was looking for. THANK YOU SONY! - The Nano looks cute attached to it. On top of that, I can advance to the next song by remote.
Setting the time was extra super easy. Just plug it in and watch the time set itself!
The enhanced Bass and Expanded Virtual Sound features makes the unit sound more powerful than it looks ... how they do that? ..., but with the sound enhancements OFF it still sounds amazing and you don't really need the enhancements.
Unlike other clock radios, the internal radio picks up stations surprisingly well. I can hear all of my favorite stations without any static.
And let's not forget the alarm features. I can wake up to my iPod, or the Radio, or the Buzzer. They all work extremely well.

What's great about it: quality sound, self setting clock, lightning ipod compatible, charge while playing, remote controlled

Disappointing

I have tried 3 iPhone5 in cases on this clock radio - none of them will allow the iPhone to sit deep enough on the lightening connector to work/charge. Every night I need to remove my iPhone from the case to dock it. This Sony clock radio will be returned.
What's great about it: Looks nice
What's not so great: iPhone5 in case does not dock
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First saw this clock/radio at a brand new hotel in Louisiana. We loved it so much we are ready to invest in one. Great for our IPod & IPhone. We love hearing our music.

Great Product!

I love this product! After 8 months of owning products one went bad with regard to iPhone sound coming out of speakers. I called Sony they told me to in plug for a minute and now it works like new. This product is definitely a great buy.
What's great about it: Everything! Especially the sound quality I have 4.
What's not so great: Some iPhone cases have to be removed to fit in the dock..
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's fairly intuitive to set up, sound is fine for the price. iPhone app is a little short on functionality.
Biggest beef: there's no 'snooze' on the remote.... You have to get out of bed and press the snooze bar on the unit itself.

It is like from the Sony of old

I had a gift card from Sony so I was looking around for something to spend it on when I found the Sony Dock with Lightning Connector. As someone who upgraded from the IPhone 4s to the IPhone 5s I needed to replace my other dock connectors.
Pros
Dock connect very easy (note I don't have a phone case)
Sound output is very good for something of this size
Radio does a great job pulling in stations that I can't get on other radios

Excellent, Great Sound & Long Lasting!!

I love this speaker!! I've had mine for over 2 years now, and its still going. Its taken a few drops and falls and it still continues to go. Its durable and sturdy!! The sound it projects is amazing! Its clear, crisp and loud lol I highly recommend it to anyone!!!
