died in 8y. i suspect it was a wheel bearing that went bad that ultimately led to part of the drum/basket assembly to come apart (ie. when spinning it was no longer balanced, nor was there a seal on the door). they wanted 450 to fix...

Many cycle options/settings

The only complaint I have of this wasger is the last minute of the cycle never takes a minute. The time is always more than the cycle says! But all in all a beautiful washer and pretty efficient and thorough. Never had any problems and it can wash my big blankets without any problems like my previous washer. It doesn't leave any residue. It's great for us. And we wash a lot!!

Washer works but prone to leaks, mold and noise

This washer was fine, for a while. It tends to gather mold inand leaks from the seal gasket and I have had to replace it but it still leaks in spin. It has also turned very loud and unbalanced and moves all over the laundry room when it spins. Somehow part of the concrete drum assembly weight has been damaged and parts of concrete have fallen off. Not satisfied overall

Great options but doesn’t work well

Very loud on spin cycle. It sounds like a plane is about to land. Was told by the previous owners that both the washer and dryer are new. Was advised by an appliance repair shop that I should buy a new washer.

This machine is a junk I got it and less then a year it broke had to get it repaired. For the last two year it will stop mid cycle if I had the money I would take this thing out and junk this carp.

Awful machine nothing but problems

This machine and the dryer have been nothing but a problem since we got them. Issues with door closure, drainage, electronic panel. The washer continually clogs at the drainage and nearly ruined a newly finished basement. I will never buy Maytag again. There is mold on the rubber gasket and we leave it open when not I use to dry out. Awful awful!
