Did this fall from heaven?

This little guy cleans EVERY DAY and was needed after Fred (a Roomba Sage) lost his ability of moving his brushes, and is now used for DJ Roomba. We named him Ives, after the first ever vacuum cleaner owner. We have a yellow tabby cat, a small catahoula, and a very old yellow lab that constantly sheds. The soft-touch bumper lets Ives clean along the dogs without waking them up. I like the scheduling feature, but I hope that Ives never cleans right after the dog didn't make it outside.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Lightweight, Long Power Cord, Powerful/Good Suction, Quiet

Use this product every day!

We use this product everyday. With a Golden Retriever and a long hair cat, I would have to pull out the vacuum and clean every day. With the Roomba, it goes on everyday at 10:00AM cleans the specified area and returns to the dock. I do have to perform maintenance and cleaning on it after every use. I am always amazed when I empty the bins and clean off the roller and brush at what this picks up. I've already added a Scooba for the tile floors and perhaps the 562 Pet Model is on the horizon.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Lightweight, Powerful/Good Suction

Reduce hidden dust,eliminate allergens

Had a Roombe several years ago and quickly worn it out; had carpet and two long hair Shetland Sheep dogs at the time. Under doctor's care for allergies. Purchased a 560 last week after replacing carpet with wood floors and finding new homes for both dogs. I love the Roomba! Had home professionely cleaned five days before receiving "MY" Roomba & it was amazing how much dirt & dust the Roomba found. We have nicknamed it "R2D2". It does seem to have a mind of its own! Hehehe! :-)

Cons: Heavy, Noisy

it works it works well and its not that noisy i can watch tv without having to turn up the volume while its running it gets all the trash and dirt off the floor its great

The More The Merrier!

I love my Roomba so much that I bought 4 for my house and 2 for my office. I've told all my friends and family about it and try to convince them to buy one for themselves. Some have, some not! It's great to be busy at other work and come back and empty the bins and find more dust and dirt and HAIR than I've ever found with any of my prior vacume systems. It's even better than my central vac system which I thought topped them all!!! Next on my list is the floor washer. I 'm saving now and CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT!!! (Wish that IRobot would make me a beta site or tester!)

I use "Suzie" to keep our floors clean. My fiance has a cat that sheds like it is going out of style. I swept before I set Suzie up and this morning we gave it the first run and I cannot believe how much dirt and hair it pickd up! It was amazing. Next time we are going to try the virtual walls for more concentrated cleaning. How we ended up getting an IRobot? I had originally wanted a small non shedding dog. One night I was web surfing and asked my fiance if we could get this dog. I showed him the IRobot and he thought it was absolutely amazing. We agreed to split the cost if I stopped asking for a dog! This is by far the best pet ever! My parents can't wait to see it in action!

Won't Ever Live Without!

My robot (Roobee:) goes about her business of cleaning my entire first floor (all hardwood)at her regularly scheduled time each day. I empty the bin every other day or so and give her brushes a cleaning at the same time. I am completely amazed each and every time with the amount of debris this robot picks up! I have no children, no animals and a central vacuum system that appeared to do a great job. It's amazing and I've already told my husband that I would never be without an IRobot again. My own hair is long and falls onto my bathroom floor after blowdrying. Roobee picks this hair up without any problems and leaves my marble perfectly clean. Amazing technology, great customer service, sensational results! I can't recommend this robot to enough of my friends or anyone else for that matter.

I Enjoy No Longer Having An Aching Back!

WHAT'S GREAT: I still have plaster dust settling after two years of new construction & I use the Roomba every couple of days to clean 3,000 sq.ft. of concrete floors. If I had to vacuum or mop I would give up and sell the house. Even though use requires cleaning of the machine, brushes, dust bin, and filters, cleaning these parts is a lot easier on my back then mopping and takes no where near the time vacuuming would. I've had no problems with the battery per charge or longevity. I've had the Roomba for 18 months. WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED: I have white plaster walls right down to the concrete floor and the black bumper has left black scuff marks on my baseboard area. A scuff-proof clear bumper that would not leave any marks is a necessary improvement. I've decided to paint/epoxy a black baseboard around the entire house, which won't be easy but the wall might take a beating from feet, etc. anyway. For simply cosmetic reasons I desire a more scratch proof housing as my Roomba encounters some unusual objects in my house.
