one problem that I have noticed

The issue I have is with the side brush, I purchased my Roomba in late Sept of 2007 and already two of the side brushes have broken off.
Pros: Cleans Under Furniture, Hassle Free Operation, Long Run Time
Cons: Loud Operation, tends to miss dirt

I love my roomba!!

I love this roomba. I had high expectations from reading reviews, but wow, it's even better than I thought. If I could only keep my house picked up and clutter free (I have a 1 yr old and 6 yr old), then I would use it even more. I haven't had to vacuum with our dirt devil since I bought this. I hope it lasts a long time. My 6 yr old loves to watch the roomba. He pretend he's trying to battle it. It's great at picking up cat hair. We have 1 cat who sheds a lot. I think the roomba is even helping keep my husbands asthma at bay. I clean the brushes after every use. It's not good with our x-mas tree skirt. It sucks it up and I have to pull it out. It's a thin satiny material.

Cons: Does Not Clean Stairs, Frequent Maintenance

Our old sweeper broke a while back, so my husband did some research on vacuums. We have a Scooba and found that the new Roombas got good reviews, and we decided to try one. We picked this one up and have loved it ever since. In two weeks it has picked up dust that was under our beds, a marble, a battery, small building blocks, artificial needles from the Christmas tree, and a bunch of dirt. Obviously our vacuum has not been working for a while! We are thinking of purchasing a second one because of the layout of our house. The only downfall of this product is the accessories. They can be quite expensive. If you need certain things and they come in a particular kit, purchase it! Otherwise you might get nickeled and dimed to death.

This is great!!! We bought it with intentions of returning it. We just wanted to see if it was as good as advertised. Well it was and then some. It is a part of our family now. It is so pet friendly. My dog hardly notices it..only when it follows her does she notice. It get stuck on some things like my x mas tree skirt, dont leave phone chargers or other small items that it can pull but other than that its great.

The best part of all is how thoroughly it cleans a floor. I use it every other day and was amazed at all it picks up with 6 cats and 2 dogs. It's very quiet running,very easy to keep clean and very pet friendly. Our little Lexie barked like crazy at it, at first. But now, they all just watch it as Roamie goes about doing it's thing.

Thought this would be a toy...best thing I ever got for myself! With huskies the fuzzy hair was everywhere on my shiny new hardwood floor..now it is entirely gone! Clean brushes and empty dust bin daily, but a simple task and much easier than vacuuming (not to mention a better job) My cat loves to watch him travel around the room...Now if he could only navigate the stairs!

I love this little product. I got it a few weeks ago, and have not had any problems so far. It is reasonably quiet. My one year old daughter loves to chase Ned around the house. We have a cat and a dog and Ned has no problem with the pet hair.I have Ned scheduled to start at 1pm. three days a week. It has really cut down and almost eliminated sweeping the floors with a broom. To put it best, Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!!

Picks up dirt & pet hair left behind by Eureka upright. Even cleans out imbedded dirt from grooves in our hardwood floor. Gets under beds, dressers, etc. Two dogs ignore it. Cons: Be sure to clear room of electric cords. It's bit noisy, bumping into table legs, walls, doors, etc.

Cons: Frequent Maintenance, Loses Charge Quickly
