I have the roomba 560. BEST THING EVER!!!! I work full time and if I am not working at my main job I am at the Ambulance working... my girlfriend also works full time. We have 2 cats and a puppy Rottweiler. I told her when we moved in together that I don't clean. I'm happy to say I love cleaning the floors LOL push of a button and everything is getting cleaned while I can do more important things. Like watch TV..! ROOMBA SUPPORT is great. I had a problem with my roomba with it clicking and they sent me the part I needed (for free and it was rushed) THANKS GUYS. Best of all they speak perfect English on the phone!! =D I LOVE YOU ROOMBA
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Covers Entire Room, Deep Cleaning Ability, Hassle Free Operation, Large Debris Bin, Long Run Time, Pet Friendly
Cons: Does Not Clean Stairs

Side brush always breaks

This is the second one and have to return this one as well, the side brushes keep breaking off and now the entire piece has come off.
Pros: Cleans Effectively
Cons: Frequent Maintenance, Loud Operation, Side brushes break

Better than previous ones

I had the 510 and the 535 models before and the 560 is way better. The design of the brush has changed, which makes it easier to clean and more efficient in picking up stuff. I run it once a week and the 560 picks up twice as much as the others. It also starts on the programed schedule, so I can forget about it, except of course for emptying its bin. If any hair is tangled around the brush I just cut it off. The only problem is that it keeps climbing up on the rotating chairs' feet and hangs there. Otherwise it gets in and out from everywhere and does a reasonable job. It's a great help.

I love my Roomba! It's programmed to clean the main floor of my house daily and does a pretty good job. Now that I have it, I don't know how I ever maintained a house with pets before. I can't believe how much hair it picks up every day! The only drawbacks to my Roomba are that it will get stuck under my fridge once every 2-3 weeks, it will lock itself in my laundry room if I leave the door open, and it frequently bumps its dock while cleaning then can't find it when it's trying to charge. Pretty minor inconveniences to a machine that keeps my hardwood floors looking clean and pet hair to a minimum!
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Helps Maintain Hardwood, Keeps Pet Hair To Minimum
Cons: Locks Itself In Rooms, Loses Dock Occasionally

Purchased our "Robby" (Roomba 550) 3 years ago. Upgraded unit to Aerovac to hold more and clean better. Have it set to run Mon-Fri at 1 PM. Until Robby arrived, we never realized how much dust builds up each day. It does most rooms of house, except Living Room with expensive rug. Have girls with long hair (instead of dogs or cats). Robby is able to run 2-3 days before cleaning. Have a Shop Vacuum setup to vacuum the brushes, filter and unit. Have the process down to only take about 5 minutes to clean. Unit will run for almost 2 full hours before going Home. It does occasionally run the battery down trying to get our 2000+ sq ft house done. (Had to replace the battery once. Change brushes, filter and rotor every 6 mo.) We only have to "Robby-tize" the place each day, i.e. pick up clothes and objects, close bathroom doors, etc. We only have to run the regular vacuum once a week to clean the left overs, and we hardly ever have to clean under the bed or couches anymore. If we ever need another, we will surely do so. We have recommended Roomba to many friends and relatives. They are always amazed when they see Robby going about his business.

Great Device

The only bad thing is how embarrassing it is to see how much dirt you have been living with. I hate vacuuming and with 2 terriers going in and out of the house, I was losing ground. Now I run the Roomba in the morning while I sip coffee and it takes 2 minutes to clean it's container. Then I press his dock button and he runs back to recharge for the next day. I love this thing.

I have always liked to live in a cleaned and neat house. For the first time in my life a pet came to my life, and I love my Pug, he is an important member in my family, but he is constantly changing his hair. I don't regret to have my pet, but to be honest I got depressed looking at the floor and carpets full of dog's hairs. A friend recommended Roomba to me. My life has changed. Roomba keeps my house cleaned every day. My only concern is that when going to one of the bathrooms she doesn't work well, and always stops working on a burgundy/green/black rug we have.
