Hi, just had my roomba for 2 weeks and i must say i am very satisfied with it. it help me with my cleaning and motivated me to do more cleaning.so all good....
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Lightweight, Long Power Cord, Powerful/Good Suction

Great robot for our needs

We've had our 560 for about 3 years now. The only repairs I've made are replacing the battery, upgrading to the AeroVac (SO worth it!) and replacing the edge brush. It does a great job on our carpeting and tile floors, picking up things I've missed with the big vacuum because it gets places I can't reach. One problem I'd seen involves pet hair. I have a friend who has a large number of long-haired dogs. Since she has to vacuum so frequently, I was trying to convince her to get a Roomba by showing her mine. After running it in her ceramic-tile family room for 45 minutes, I'd emptied the debris container 3x and burned my hand on dog hair-wrapped brush bearings that had heated up from friction. I don't think it impressed her, but her house is kind of an extreme case. One thing I've noticed after owning Roomba for this long, you adapt your space a bit to make things easier for him. I've moved small furniture like end tables because I see him constantly stuck near them. It's a minor asthetic change, but it makes life a lot easier, so it was worth it.

Cons: Pet Hair Is A Problem

I have an 11 year old dog with short hard to get out of everything type of fur. She is bulldog, dalmation but she sheds like crazy. She should be bald, LOL. This vacum has been the best thing we bought for her hair. I wish I would have bought it 10 years ago. I would recommend to everyone with pets (and have).

Have had 2 Roomba's. First on took a tumble down the stairs (totally my fualt), so I had to have another. I have and will continue recommending to friends. Helps reduce cleaning time, keeps the house looking tidy between cleanings. I have a lab that sheds everywhere and Roomba tackles the fur without any trouble, no doggie tumbleweeds on my hardwoods - whoo hoo!

Great but........

We love our little friend but some time she gets lost and cant find her way back to home. We have used it for 11 months an she died. Irobot can to the rescue with quick responces on email and when the was no chance to revive her we recieve a replacement with prompt attention. we are thinking of buying a second one for the upstairs.

LOVE MY ROOMBA BUT HAVE ONLY HAD IT A MONTH AND HAD TO REPLACE CLEANING HEAD ALREADY. I HOPE IT WAS A FLUKE.
