I love my roomba, even though i got it as a gift for my mother's birthday! Cleans the floors letting me do better things with my time, and i know my mom can also do other things and have her floors clean. Easy to clean after every use, I find it best to use a damp paper towel. Though my only draw back is that when the dust bin gets dusty it would be easier to just rinse it with some water using the paper towel. i would recommend this to anyone!
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Lightweight, Long Power Cord, Powerful/Good Suction
Cons: Dust bin isn't washable

I LOVE my Roomba

I love my roomba. I have 2 cats that shed constantly and I used to vacuum floors daily to get the dust off. With the roomba i dont have to worry about it, it does the cleaning for me, I find it to be very efficient, it pick up dust, hair, crumbs and pretty much everything else. It is a huge time saver for me, I barely use my regular vacuum now. Its worth the money!!!!!
Pros: Easy To Use, Efficient, Powerful/Good Suction
Cons: Noisy

Roby is hard at work every morning at 7:00am for us and within 1 hour, our 1200 sq. ft house is completely clean as he goes home to recharge for the next cleaning spree, with he seems to look forward to with enthusiasm. If he ever gives out, we will purchase another without thinking twice.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Highest efficiency, Lightweight, Nothing too much for Roby, Powerful/Good Suction

Greatest invention of the decade!

Single guy with 2 cats. Hardwood floors and a couple of area rugs. You have to "Roomba-Proof" your house. By that I mean, no clothes on the floor, no small clutter left laying around including small toys from visiting nephews, etc. With that being said, my 560 model works great! Love it! I run it 5 days a week when I'm not home. Keeps the house dust and cat hair free. All my furniture is just high enough off the ground so Roomba can clean under it. I have a small house, just under 1000 sq ft and Roomba cleans it all. No more dust balls. No more sweeping. Floors stay clean all the time! Gets stuck occasionally on things left on the floor like clothes.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Keeps house clean
Cons: Battery life, Gets stuck

Love my New Pet

I got this as a surprise Xmas gift. Heard all about it and finally own one. I used it almost everyday. Because my house is an open concept house, the virtual wall sensor helped alot. My 560 is so amazing, it go into every nook and under the bed, it sucks up very well. I am still having problem getting it to go back to the base by itself. I timed it, and with one full charge I get about 40 mins of cleaning. The roomba does goes from tile to carpet but be careful of rugs, some it has no problem going on and off but others, like the thicker kind might be too high for the roomba to get on. It is very easy to clean. I heard about the low life span of the battery, so most likely I might have to get extra battery. I think every mom should have one, the Roomba is such a great help. Can anyone help me with getting the Roomba back to it's base by itself?

I've been enjoying my 560 for 2 years. It's still doing what I hoped it would...keep my floors clean. I've had to do maintenance, but that goes for anything that works everyday. Replaced the battery 2 times, and replaced the sweeper brush module 3 times. Even with that, I can't imagine not having one of these wonderful machines in my home.

My 550 picks up the pet hair from my two cats extreamly well. The biggest plus is cleaning under the beds. Draw backs would be that it is noisy and requires frequent cleaning.

Absolutely love the scheduler - floors get clean and stay that way, because I don't have to remember to vacuum, and can empty the bin later in the day when I have time. Only real problem is that it doesn't work well on my black/beige/burgundy Persian-style rug. The color differences must be too dramatic - it is constantly (as is every minute or two) asking to clean the cliff sensors. Works great on the other rugs and floors. Keeps the pet hair under control! Now, if I could just get it to vacuum the sofas where the dog sneaks a nap when we are away......
