A Must for Seniors

As a Senior, vacuuming was beginning to be a big chore and time consuming. At my age, I have better things to do than vacuum!! The Roomba 560 is perfect for us. One level house, carpet and floors. I couldn't believe the dirt and stuff that the 560 took out of the carpet. It took 4 times to totally clean the carpet. I was shocked when I opened the filter area and saw all that dust! Now it's twice a week. All that dust is gone and we can really smell the difference. It picked up the pile on the carpet better than the vacuum cleaner. I have no problems with picking it up and cleaning it. It only took 2 times to clean the floors. We love it! We take it with us to our vacation home, too.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Easy To Use, Efficient, Powerful/Good Suction

I'm just in love with it. It helps me keep my apartment clean for the every week cleaning. It's my fairy. When I get home everything in cleaned. It could come with an extra mop function

My New Best Friend!!

My husband and I have two Great Danes, and are expecting our first baby in a few months - I run my Roomba everyday and it keeps the dog hair picked up for me! My floors even FEEL cleaner! It's a pregnant woman's dream come true to be able to sit back and have the vacuuming done for her! I am now wanting to get the Scooba to do the mopping once the baby comes!

Cleans very well

Does a very good job. Cleans under low furniture. The brushes may require frequent cleaning. If you hear a clicking noise, the brushes are jammed, perhaps from something like string, perhaps from hard packed dust. It is easy to remove the brushes, take off the bearings, and clean, then reassemble. The best cleaning tools are a dog slicker brush ($3~$4) and narrow tipped tweezers. (iRobot's $6 brush cleaner does a mediocre job.) An acid brush (20¢ from the hardware store) works well to clean the dust bin and filter.

SUPER EASY TO USE

This product is so easy to use. We have it in our living room and have it set to clean regularly and it take a matter of a couple extra minutes a day to dump and clean out the brushes. THIS IS SO EASY that even a cat can vaccum with it...My cat loves to watch it work and she isn't afraid of it infact she starts it with the push of her paw AT LEAST once a day and it picks up her hair and the dogs hair with easy allowing company and ourselves to sit on the carpet without getting a bunch of pet hair on our clothes. I would highly reccomend this.

Roomba is part of our family

I have Roomba coming to 4 years now. I just replaced the battery when it died after 2 years. Roomba still is great even after years of almost everyday use. Vacuums our house and leaves the tiled floor shiny. It's a little bit noisy but not so noisy as other conventional vacuum cleaners. After I got Roomba, I never used our Electrolux and Delphin vacuum cleaners, although both costs thousands of dollars (wasted). Roomba is all you need but also include a handy rechargeable vacuum cleaner for quick cleaning. I clean Roomba every week. It is not recommended to wet the vacuum bin but I always clean it in a faucet. I think soaking is the one to be avoided. The bin collects a lot of dust and running it under a faucet is the only way to clean it. Roomba is a part of our family! There are times that we will leave our house and Roomba will disappear, usually stuck in those tiny spaces where it cant get out anymore.

the best cleaning staff we've ever had

We've now had 3 of these cleaning our medical offices for more than a year (we allocate approx 100m2/Roomba). They work every night Mon-Fri... We've not had to change batteries yet. We call them our night shift (they even have names)... It's amazing how much dirt and dust they collect every night. Although they don't replace a good weekly vaccuum by our cleaner for these commercial premises, they provide a different type of clean improving air quality by removing dust and keeping the place looking spotless! We love our Roombas and even if they were to all break down tomorrow, we'd buy a replacement 'crew' in a flash!

I love the conviences of the roomba, I can start in one room, while its cleaning another.. Works well in single rooms, but not intended for a open floor plan homes without having multiple (3 or more) virtual walls. If you can keep it in one room it will do a good job..Doesnt recognize darker wood furniture, but does well with the lighter walls.I diffently will be upgrading
