This stove top is beautiful. The elements are powerful and has cut my cooking time in half. I am still getting used to the cooking settings since I replaced a 30 year old cook top that took 25 minutes to boil water. The only problem I am experiencing is how to keep the cook top clean. I have tried the wipes and sprays.for glass cooking surfaces, and they are useless. If anyone has any tips, please let me know. Something this beautiful should not look dirty!
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction
The fourth cook top we.ve owned in this particular kitchen. The first one we have owned that met/exceeded our expectations. One MANDATORY feature for us is the 'Control Lock'. We have frequent young visitors (grandchildren and their friends) and one household member, where we really need to control who can turn on the cooktop. The feature, while not 'ironclad' is certainly adequate to meet that critical need. The totally flat surface makes cleanup a snap, and the rapid burner heating, with a visual indication from the burner makes this a particularly good choice for us. The use of the digital controls has proven to be a bit daunting for 'analog thinkers', but with just a bit of use and practice everything seems to be very natural to everyone. First became interested in the product after reading a Consumer Reports review.
Pros: Heats Up Quickly, Large Surface Area, Easy To Clean, High Powered Burners, Precise Controls
I especially like the ergonomic layout that places the two smaller burners behind the large main burner. I set up smaller pots or pans on those two and leave them to simmer, allowing me to focus my attention on the medium and large burners which are generally being used at a higher temperature. Kudos to the design. Also, the "simmer" and "zone size" options on the selection controls are wonderful tools.
