Extremely Disappointed & Surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JENN-AIR & WHIRLPOOL brand names have a fabulous reputation. I am not only surprised but also disappointed that the microwave oven malfunctioned in a short period of time with so little use. It was necessary for me to call a repair technician to inspect the oven. The front right side panel needs to be replaced & is currently on order. Hopefully, that will correct the problem. Was a “lemon” installed by the builder in my relatively new abode?
Pros: Easy To Use
Cons: Unstable

Good - Keypad Failure in Under 3 Years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keypad failed and required purchase of new unit. Other than that, mostly good. A way to double-tap the number buttons to get a quick 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 minute cook would be nice. Easy to clean, good looking product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement microwave. It is an exact replica of the original one we bought in April of 2019. Luckily we took the insurance because I thought this model was expensive compared to other brands. I would have been really upset if it had died after two years with no insurance. There is nothing exceptional about it. The start button gave out and it seems cheaply made. It surprised me given the cache of the brand. I would not buy another one.
Cons: Flimsy Construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my JennAir after only 3 years! I don’t really like the push button to open the door. Would much rather have a handle but had to get the same thing to fit in the space. Also was WAY too expensive!

Nice looking microwave, but some issues…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Jennair microwave is sleek looking and cooks well, but the darned button/latch is very hard to push open. I’m not old (yet), and the latch requires a lot of force to open it. I feel like it’s going to be something that “gives out” first, as it doesn’t open readily.

Hoping it lasts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaces a slightly less than 2 year old identical model that died. (The control panel died). It took JennAir nearly 2 months to actually replace it. It's a perfectly adequate microwave, but does absolutely nothing more than microwaves that cost 75% less.
