I was replacing a jenn air microwave that was 20 years old. I wanted to match my jenn air oven and other appliances. I could not find one of the same dimensions as my older one so I had to settle for a smaller one to fit my opening which required a new trim set. Unfortunately I did not have the dealer unbox and demonstrate before I purchased it. The writing on the display is so small with dim colors that I can't read without bright light and reading glasses. Also the color of the clock did not match my oven display. Otherwise it works fine. I relied too much on the satisfaction I had with previous jenn air oven.
Pros: Powerful, Easy To Clean, Attractive Design, Heats Evenly, Easy To Install
Cons: Hard To See Display

I replaced my 20 year old Jenn Air microwave because all of a sudden it stopped working. This one is so much nicer because it has a carousal and is so much quieter. The only problem was that the unit was 3" smaller and took some work to make it look good in the space over the Jenn Air wall oven.

I am amazed at how quiet this operates and how well it heats food. The only downside is the pushbuttons are small and hard to read. I would not recommend for those with aging eyesight.

This microwave replaced one that was probably 15 years old. It looks great. My wife actually purchased the unit but I noticed something the first time I looked it over. The lettering is way to light on the control panel. I had to get a flashlight to read the different buttons. I guess if you have a light shining directly on it you wouldn't have a problem but otherwise it might be hard to see. We have had good luck with Jenn Air in the past and I guess my wife will keep the microwave but I think the people that design these products should use them and this problem might have been avoided.
