My comments are above.....I'm not happy with the front of the microwave. The display panel plastic is cut on the "start" button as well as on a number button. We have only had the microwave about a month. We are senior citizens and not careless with our use. Also, the extra installation plastic package that we bought had several scratches in it when it was taken out of the box. It should have had a plastic stuck on it like the microwave did to avoid scratches. I would like to have someone come to look at the front of my new microwave and make some corrections. We also have a Jenn-Air cook top and oven. This microwave is not up to Jenn-Air quality.
Cons: We are not careless people, 2 senior citizens., What will it look like in 6 months ?, Hard To See Display, I'm very unhappy with the front of our microwave, Perhaps replace the piece or change it out total, The plastic piece that covers the display panel, I cannot even see the "Start" words, We have only had it for about 1 month., I would like to have someone come to look at it., Another number has been cut also.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid microwave built to last. Quality materials and heats food quickly. Don't care for the way you choose to set it for lower than 100% power -- is confusing. But otherwise we're very happy with it. It even has a lock on it for child safety which is important since it's installed at knee level.

Enjoy all our Jennaire products. However this new microwave has small characters on the touchpad that are difficult to read and should be backlit. Also miss the one touch buttons for "drink", "dinner plate", etc.
