I bought this to replace our old downdraft during our kitchen remodel and could not be happier. It is sleek and powerful~ runs like a charm. I love that the controls are on the side of the unit, so they are out of sight when not using.
We purchased this to go along with our Jenn-Air 5 burner cooking unit for an upgrade of our kitchen. The two are perfectly matched. the new look, with our other new appliances turned out even better than we had anticipated. Very pleased.
We are so pleased with the downdraft that performs as promised. Because the system is higher then the average ventilation system, it removes the steam and odors completely.
I bought this downdraft to replace an old one that wasn't working when I remodeled my kitchen. It seemed to be a bit hard to replace because I think the pipe I had before was bigger than what this one needed. It is nice looking, sleek and seems easy to clean.
We bought all Jenn-Air appliances for our kitchen remodel including this downdraft. We have used it a couple times and find it to be easy to use. It is by far better than our older downdraft and I can tell it is high quality.
nice looking item, easy to install, I have it installed but have not moved in new home yet, for now it goes all the way up and drops about 1 inch and works fine !! but to get it to go down you have to push button twice more, I am thinking quality control at factory, surely they make sure it works before leaving or else something happened to it in transit, gonna contact jenn air once I move in for repair ' More latere
I love it. It works fantastically and does not block any sight lines in the kitchen. The multiple speed function is great. Only tricky part, most installers do not want to install downdrafts because they require more attention to detail. Totally worth it.
We got this installed by our contractor in our new house we just built. It turns on and sounds like it is working but doesn't suck any air. It almost acts like it is blowing a little bit of air back in the house. Our contractor said there was no way to hook it up backwards or anything since it is just 120V power going to it and the repairman said it was installed improperly and that improper installation isn't covered by the warranty and the installer will have to figure out what is wrong. I would recommend this unit because it sounds like a strong vent fan and it looks nice and operates nice besides the fan not blowing any air properly but since it hasn't been working properly yet I can't recommend it... It has to be something with installation or maybe wireing was backwards from the factory...
